You should go on the links that were provided in this thread and see if any of the members of those clubs live near you. Give them a call and see if they would be willing to show you their Biewers. Best way to find out for yourself and gain a true insight right from a breeder. |

I had never seen one in person until I picked up Reggie. Now I own and show Frazier and am wow'd by the other biewers we've gotten to meet in these venues. |

I think the biggest difference you see on line in pictures...is a lot of biewers are kept in coat, unlike many yorkies you see on this site. Maybe that's why they look so different to you. |
So Then they are still yorkies , of a different color . That because of the politics of AKC, had to be renamed. No different then the acceptable colors of dachshunds, double dapple or piebald is not what AKC considers to be standard colors , However they are dachshunds not boston terriers or Germane shepherds, but dachshunds. Biewers are simply yorkies if a different color. Because of a gene, be it throw-back or whatever. It is what it is. |

If you contact a member of the BTCA, they would be more than happy to show you their Biewers. The BTCA is an educational club and is more than happy to share their knowledge with the public. Good Luck. |
