I was wondering what dear Alfie had been up to. Maybe he thought June looked hungry, and might decide to take the pigs ear back. I've never understood how they could enjoy them after they have been buried, and are covered in dirt. Must add to the flavor. |
Alfies new coat 2 Attachment(s) Alfie saw the gamekeepers jacket he said that's cool Dad can I have one So he now owns a wax jacket |
The broken path 3 Attachment(s) He chased a field mouse and it dissapeared under the path |
Not my fault 1 Attachment(s) Just look at the dirty look He begged me to go to the woods and had to be washed underneath when we got home Now he has it in for me He is in his favourite corner of the sofa with his favourite blanket |
He hid it well, we have searched and can't find it. Quote:

Alfie has gone and done it now. We are going on a camping holiday with our kids, who have a 9 month old Dachsund Candy, she is sweet little dog, but Alfie does not like other dogs, which means he can't go on holiday with us, he is missing so much. He is constantly barking and going mad at the neighbours dogs through the fence. June in desperation has contacted a dog psychologist, the firm is called Barkbusters. As I type June is talking on the phone to the lady to arrange help for him. I will keep you posted. |
Well that is a waste of time, they want a shed load of money up front for a years treatment. We just asked if they would take payment in stages, no they wont. It seems a bit naughty to want all the money up front, for a years treatment. I wish I could get people to pay me for my work up front, sometimes I have to wait 3 months for payment. |
Result June found a firm Petsense They will take the payment in two stages, there is no time limit for the help. And it is a fraction of the other one. We can only try them out, If they are no good Alfie will probably sort them out lol. |
Alfies bone 1 Attachment(s) I thought I would start the pics off with his bone, a leg of lamb from yesterdays sunday roast, I left a good bit of meat on for him to get him started, this will last him a week. It's nearly as big as his head. |
Time to get started 3 Attachment(s) Mmmmm! what corner first ? |
This is nice 3 Attachment(s) I must save a bit for later |
Yes I know he is a scruff bag He is due a haircut, he won't let us brush him, he go's ballistic if we get near him with a brush. I normally finger comb him when he is on my lap, it's the only way I can untangle him and check for unwelcome visitors, which I find often, he lets me do that as he knows I get the bugs out. Typical boy eh! shout soap and water and they run a mile. |
I love this thread. Keeping up with Alfie is such a treat. |
