YT Addict | Yuck!! she eats worms Hello everyone my little Pebbles loves worms. We just had a couple of days of rain and every time she goes outside for a pee she would search for worms. At night is the worst because I have a hard time seeing her. I take a flash light out with me and watch to make sure she does not eat any!! But this really creeps me out because I hate worms and I can see them squiggling on the ground Yuck!! Even if the worm is dead and dried up she will try and grab it. The other day I was at the park with my boys and I had to pull at least 3 dried dead worms from her mouth. Please share with me if any other of your furbaby's do this, it might make me feel better. I as so worried she will get sick! |

| Gus was an earth worm eater, last Spring, when he was a pup. My wife thought they were okay to eat. However, when Gus had a urinalysis one parasite egg was found in his urine. I forget the name of the parasite, but when I did research on earth worms, I found that some carry this parasite. So, we started avoiding worms, but it's a challenge. This Spring he's trying to eat live earth worms & dead, dried earth worms he finds on the driveway.

| My Logan is only mildly interested in the live ones but the dead ones are fantastic. He loves to rub his face against their dried up bodies.

| Aprillove, what is that thing in her mouth??? Baxter likes leaves, grass, acorns, sticks, I guess all the usual stuff, but last year when he caught a grasshopper in mid flight, gave 2 chomps and swallowed, well I was just totally grossed out. Could be worse though, just think it could be poop!!!!

A loooong dead dried up worm that I kept pulling out of her mouth and throwing as far as I could, and she kept finding it, lol. I didn't even know it was in her mouth when I took the pictures, I just thought she was running happily through the dirt

YT Addict | Oh thank-you so much everyone If nothing else I don't feel alone anymore. I just get so grossed out when I have to pull them from her mouth. It's either pull them from her mouth or let her eat them, and I guess even though it grosses me out my love for her conquers all and I reach in there and pull them out. Thanks again |
