Look what I've found on craigslist!

The lady I got her from seems to have taken really good care of her. She is up to date on vaccines, and looks healthy, but her little belly is so rounded. My boys aren't like that. Could that be a sign of anything wrong? She was on terrible food (Ol' Roy canned). I free feed my boys and I feed them Innova puppy, when I brought her home and put her down, she cleaned out what was left in their bowl. There wasn't much left though, probably about half a handful. Her poo is very dark and loose and smells terrible. Is that probably due to the quality of her food?

Have you taken her for a vet check yet? I would be afraid to have her around my dogs until I did this. Since you didn't actually see the home, there is no way to know how this dog has really been raised. I always recommend people see the home and kennel conditions; it's the only way to know for sure. Concerning the rounded tummy, it might be an indication of worms. Good luck, but I would have a vet check, ASAP!

I tend to agree with Nancy...regardless of how "healthy" you believe her to be...I would've taken her to the vet's for an exam.

They were booked today and tomorrow. We have an appointment on Monday.

Cute baby girl I would definately take vet a stool sample even if they can't get her in..... A good vet will usually suggest that? I am so glad she is now your baby!!!!!!!! Hugs!!!!

She's a little spit-fire though. She's terrorizing my baby boys. Her name is Juno, but I'm not crazy about that. What a cutie, glad you were able to get her I'd keep her away from your other pets for now, until she's checked out. Dark smelly poo is often a sign of Parvo, and I pray that's not it. Could just be the change in the food as well. Better safe than sorry, though, if it possibly is parvo, she could go down quickly
