So I was reading a thread on yorkietalk from Danyell about how she got a beautiful little girl from craigslist...so I went on and LOOK AT WHAT I FOUND! :D

I have a 4 1/2 year old male purebred Yorkshire Terrier that I am trying to find a good home for. He is housebroken and extremely friendly. He is good with kids and other animals. He loves attention and is full of energy. He is kennel trained. He comes with a bed, kennel, leash, harness, a few outfits, toys, etc.

He would be a welcome addition to any home that loves dogs. If you are interested, and live quite a distance away, we will be willing to travel to an extent to meet you half way.

An adoption fee is being asked for.

I'm super excited! Should I take him? I wanted a male dog...he's a little older than I wanted but its okay...I've been wanting one to be with Libbie when I'm at work cause I know shes bored...I still need to call that person when I get off of work to see if its for real or not..........here is a two photos of him that the person posted...what do you guys think? :confused:

I think, if he and Libbie seem to like each other during a meet and he passes a vet exam, you should get him. He is adorable looking!! I wonder why they are having to rehome him?

LOL! I read the same thread and did the exact same thing as you! Unfortunately, not with the same good results. I sure hope you can get him. I want a male also to give company to my 7 mth old female.

I would go sneak a break at work and call them now! He will be snatched up in a heart beat and he sounds great! Good Luck and let us know!

Yeah thats the same thing I'm thinking. She JUST posted this ad up today t 2:30 and right now its only 2:56. I'm going to call her when I get home and maybe even go see him :D...And like many of you mention I'll have to take him to the vet to see how everything goes...

He's very cute.

I'm not raining on your parade...but how old is Libbie? A 4.5 yr old dog isn't usually interested in puppy antics.

Yes, I agree with bchgrl in that sometimes older dogs don't like getting along with young ones. I know when I take my boys to the yorkie meetups, they love to play with the others and the older yorkies just get extremely irritated! They snarl and bark at them. I try to keep them away from the older yorkies. Just take your little one to see how they interact. Make sure you have someone to accompany you. You don't want this to be some psycho.

We have a 12 yo & a 7 yo plus 10mo Sophie. 12yo doesn't mind her as long as she doens't stragiving him the butt. The 7yo & her have their moments but generally get along & we've only had her for about 5 weeks,

Ramsey is 3 1/2...she isn't mean to Frazier who is 7 months, and they get along but she isn't his playmate. That title belongs to Reggie...who's only 7 months older.

I think if you are looking for a playmate....you should look for a dog closer in age.

Because you said that... I DID JUST THAT! ahaha. He tells me that he is giving away his dog because he is moving to another apartment that does not allow pets. He lives about 30 min away from me. And is selling his dog for 325 but he is willing to lower the price if sold to a good home. :rolleyes: I want to bring Libbie to meet him and see how she reacts. Truth is she doesn't know how to act around dogs...Big dogs scare her..she'll start crying. I don't really know anybody that owns little dogs... so we'll see :)

She is only turning 16 weeks this weekend. (sunday to be exact)

My 4 yr old isn't that good with young hyper pups. I thought it was because she is a rescue and didn't know how to play but maybe it's because she's older.
