| Yorkies and Yard work We don't use any sort of pesticide on the lawn because of the dogs. So I was out digging up dandylions by hand tonight. Turns out that it probably wasn't a good idea to do it with dogs out side with me. Now they think they have a new job: HELP MOM DIG HOLES IN THE LAWN. Wish I had taken a picture! |

| Noelle went over to a pansy that we just planted so sweetly like she was admiring and smelling it, I was thinking "look how cute she is smelling the flowers". Then she chomped it off. |

| In one of our local magazines there is a natural recipe for weeds !!! In a spray bottle, add white vinegar, little dish detergent and a little salt.... spray it on the weeds when the sun is out and they will die within a day.... No harmful pesticides !!!

| Funny you brought this up....my husband planted some seedling trees this afternoon...we looked over and Ollie had dug into the hole...his head was totally buried and he was throwing dirt back behind him as fast as he could. He is so hilarious...I reminded him he was supposed to be a prissy little house puppy....he loves to do yard work with us. |

I also want to thank izzierj for the above helpful hint. I'm going to try it on my weeds tomorrow.

Wonderful! I can't wait to try it! Luckily it is pouring rain today, so hopefully they won't want to doddle to much in the yard today! | |
