Wow! Her website was makin my head spin. I thought her "buttercups" were so cute. BUT!!!!!! What is a Buttercup??? And did you notice there were no picture of the adult dogs or what her "breeds" looked like when they were grown!???! Who knows what you would be getting. E-mails that didn't look any different than her own ramblings. :confuse2: Take her at her word??!!!!! I think not. That was one OPINIONATED Person. (Not Lady!) |
This woman's insane....and it sickens me to think what type of conditions her 'designer' dogs are living in  To say that any one who's had a yorkie wouldn't have another proves to me that she's never actually spoken to a yorkie owner......I'd have a hundred if I had the space and money xxx xx |
OH MY!!! The whole site is SICK:thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown Stupid puppymiller doesn't know their butt from a hole in the ground:rolleyes: |
Just be so thankful that she don't like yorkies so they don't get mixed up in this mess Betty & Micah my love:aimeeyork |

IMO, She is making up her own names and selling mixed breeds. A "buttercup" is a flower. All those pups are what they are, products or her own design. nothing more or her own creation. As cute as they are, they may come with serious health problems down the road as they become older. She is a fraud. And out to make a profit. It is sickening. Not to mention the woman is loony. :thumbdown |
It's not what he or she wrote about the Yorkie but rather the amount of different and mixes she breeds. That in itself sends up a red flag. Truthfully, I can't totally disagree on what she wrote about the Yorkie. They are very hard to potty train and are stubborn. Hence why I now have laminate floors. I'm just very upset to see yet another in it for the $$. Elaine |

Buttercup is not a breed - I believe she only calls them that because of their coloring. They are Maltese puppies. In anycase, she's definitely a BYB. |
[quote=lovespandp;2588796]I am confused..what is she trying to do.. Try to tell people yorkies are not good?? "wiry coat" uhh peanuts hair is softer than mine!! "yippy" peanut only barks when someone knocks at the door he doesnt know! " I hardly ever talk to a person who has a yorkie that cares to get another" uhhh Im not even going to respond to that!! This lady is nuts quote] I had been told that Yorkies are "yippy". Perhaps they are if you lock them in an apartment all day and ignore them. But mine hardly EVER bark!!! but they are loved and played with regularly. |

I hope everyone reads it and stops buying Yorkies on a whim - which will result in less overbreeding of this wonderful little dog. I guess I'm an idealist, but that would be great. I don't get the wirey hair part and my Kalina is anything but yippy and she is beautifully housetrained. Matty is also very nicely housetrained, but she has a tendency to yip - mostly because she just wants company to pay attention to her. I def. don't get the part about people who have Yorkies don't want another. That's crazy. I want another Yorkie "all the time". She seems to be developing her own breeds - which is just plain crazy!! :( |
She has some very strange opinions and I dont like her description of yorkies. Buttercups and english munchkins are a new one on me |

Now that I am the proud owner of a Yorkie I will never own another breed, especially not a Buttercup. My guess by looking at her site is that she is a backyard breeder type and that is what she is familiar with, so she has only met yorkies of somewhat questionable breeding… My experience with my little guy has been that he has surely been willful, but with consistency and positive reinforcement I got him trained in what I would consider a reasonable time, his hair is like silk and easier to maintain than my own hair and I am constantly complimented by guests, coworkers, people out in public about how well behaved he is for a dog. He really is a little gentleman. On top of that he is an excellent watch dog. Even at his small size he has tried to protect me from an ill intentioned stranger while out walking. Most of all yorkies are sensitive and entertaining! This little guy always knows how I am feeling and if I am down he is always there to cheer me up by doing something funny… Some people!!! |
I sure would like to know if anyone ever asks her what a Buttercup or Munchkin is and actually gets an answer from her. I read quite a bit of her site and she just sounds nutty. One of the things I agree the most with is.... how would she remember what a true Maltese should look like when it seems like most of what she does is crossbreed. Hmmmm...... |
She's in MI huh???? Hmmmmm, Maybe I'll head over there with Snickers and show her his gorgeous, lucious, glistening coat!! And ADORABLE lil baby face and precious bark we barely hear!! LOL!!! What an idiot to actually say negative things about ANY breed let alone our Yorkies!! Obviously stiff competition for her since Yorkies are so in demand!!! How immature! I am curious about her though...I wanna bust her on her make believe breed she made up!! UGH-COME ON, making up your own BREED!!!?? I might email her!! She does seem to have SOME good intentions (ex: the food she feeds (Life's Abundance) and the pet store warnings she posts.) I'm thinking the Buttercup is some Maltese mix (prob both parents are mixed breeds as well) as well and the English Muffin oh! I mean Munchkin;) has some Springer Spaniel or even Pomerianian in it!! Each page of her site is so freakin looooong, and she mentions off topic things on each page....crazy! Gave me a headache as well.... |

Barking has nothing to do with shot's!:confused::rolleyes: |
I've done some research and the munchkins are pomarainian /yorkie mixes and the buttercups are maltese /shih tzu mixes. |
Oh my gosh! I'm going through this site and I think this is the woman that my b/f's brother and his wife bought their "english munchkin" from! Wow, what a small world. I never met the woman but I remember when they told me what kind of breed the dog was, I never heard of it. The trainer where I work at told me it's pretty much got 6 or 7 different types of toy breeds in it (pom, shih tzu, yorkie, chihuahua, etc.) I can't believe she'd say something like that about a yorkie! |

This person is making a lot of people upset with what she is doing to our breeds and dogs in general. Yes my yorkies are yappie they are picky I've been trying for years to potty train with no luck but I wouldn't have it any other way. The love and dedication I get from these little girls makes up for all their little quirks. |

The scary part is that this wacko is bringing innocent puppies into the world and preaching nonsense that her buyers probably believe! Good grief...what a sanctimonious, pompous @ss! |
Not going to stand for it!! I took the liberty of e-mailing this nutty "breeder" Here is what I told her: "I don't know any reputable breeder or dog lover that would attack a certain breed of dog! So, I am assuming that you are neither a reputable breeder or a genuine dog lover!! Sounds to me like you are just using poor dogs to turn a profit!! As a Yorkie owner and dog lover, I find your site offensive and you are obviously very ill-informed!! " We can't let her get away with dissing OUR breed!! |
