| Aren't all Yorkies this way? My brother has been around more Yorkie's then I. He come over and helps me daily, as my in home service provider. My son and I are disabled. The other day he informed that My Yorkie, Suzi is very Hyperactive. And she is the only one he has ever seen behave like that. I thought that all yorkie's had a lot of energy? and love to play? Get excited when people come over? Maybe even , Hpyeractive at times? Or is something wrong with Suzi? She is 1 yrs old now. Suzi loves my brother like crazy and he is around 5'10 . Suzi can jump past his knees ! My gosh, it looks as if she is flying When he sits down she is all over him in a flash. She has even stole his hat! When he is around Suzi totally forgets that I am even here! It is funny ! I don't mind, I think it is adorable. He plays with her and she loves it. However, aren't all Yorkie's Hyper? Sometimes she does seem to be on something?

| No, not all yorkies are like that. But then again a lot of them are. You could be describing my Chelsea - she's a firecracker!! They each have their own little personality.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | My boys have a TON of energy - love to fetch, wrestle, tug-o-war, run around. They go out of their minds when one of us gets home. I think healthy, happy doggies most always have quite a bit of energy. Of course, they get sleepy and cuddly too.

| one hyper, one not LOL. I love what you said about the jumping. My Gypsy is quite hyper and can jump like an Olympic Champion. She doesn't sleep through the night and she is such a fast runner. Gypsy is 2 1/2 years old. But my other yorkie, Prissy, is so much more calm! she is one and a half. |

| Jackson's pretty laid back most of the time but he has his hyper active moments. He's 6 months old. He's pretty chill most of the time though!

| My little Maddie is a wild one, she is usually all over the place, especially if there is a visitor. She loves to pick on and wrestle with her big brother Copper and climb and jump, she is 6 in tall and will jump onto my couch which is about 24 in high she has endless energy and I guess you could call her hyper active. Then she crashed for a while and is calm and sweet and cuddly. After she rests up she is at it again. Suzi is still really young, I am sure both of our girls will calm down with time.

| Thank you for the input! My little darling is a wild chic ! I love her with all my heart, but than got to wonder about her behavior after my brother said what he has not ever seen a Yorkie like her. OMG, I must be blessed. She may calm down as she becomes older. Suzi is certainly a very smart cookie. She is a fast learner, and is such a doll baby.
