Will you or will you not? Will you or will you not put hair dyes on your furbabie{s} hair? Myself I must admit it does look cute, but I'm a big chicken when it comes too that. I don't want my furbabies hair too fall out. Here's a video that I foundt, the dog does look cute in pink. |
heck no, that stuff itches the crap outta me, why would i torture her. |

Is this a serious question??? |
I couldn't even watch that whole video because it was hurting my eyes. LOL. So, no, I wouldn't. |

Now I've seen everything. |
My gd colored her Maltipoo for Halloween. While she had fun with it at the time, she later decided she'd learned her lesson. Had a hard time washing out all the orange at the same time. It was blotchie & wierd looking for awhile. So no, I wouldn't do it. |
Are you kidding me? Hell to the no. That is absolutely ridiculous. |
I can't see the vid (browser problems), but I posted a thread about this a week ago. :D http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-your-dog.html You can use a variety of completely harmless dyes - food coloring, sugarless Koolaid, vegetable dye, or professional dog dye. There's actually a very inspirational story of a man in Japan who adopted an abused, neglected shelter dog. He dyed him to look like a panda bear, and the dog is now a mascot for the country's shelter dogs. Other people will dye their dog pink for breast cancer awareness month. I had been thinking of dyeing Thor for Easter, but he got a tummy bug - coincidence? 4th of July is coming up soon though (evil laugh). |
I would never do that. I think it looks ridiculous!! JMO |
Be careful some states have laws against this! I personally would never do that to my babies! |

No because I love them natural . |
That is about the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I, like someone above, couldn't even watch the whole thing because it hurt my eyes. Poor dog. |
No Way.... |
There was a pink maltese on The Dog Whisperer today. It was super cute, but no I won't be dying Missy's hair. I like her just the way she is. :aimeeyork |
I would not be interested in this and I don't think Jasmine or Prissy would care for it either. |

if your dog has dark or black hair, then you wouldn't be able to dye it, is that right? i might consider dying milu's hair dark if she turns silver, because i like the dark color, but probably not though, sounds like a lot of effort? :p |
Yeah, you need a little albino like Thor for the coloring to show. :) I believe that show yorkies sometimes have their coats dyed to get the perfect dark blue, but of course that's not entirely on the up and up. I'm thinking of it as more of a holiday thing, not a steady maintenance effort. |
Nope-not the thing for us!!! Hate maintaining my own haircolor-much less a group of furbabies. |
I just checked with Ben, and he said "NO way!" He also turned these down: Sex Sells Everything, Even Pet Wigs! But, he did acquiese to a small brightly colored hair extension and was not entirely opposed to a new studly bow. |
Honestly....i think it looks ridiculous!! |
Two things... NOT being rude but just WOW that dog looks like it got in a fight with a fuschia crayon and lost What's the point like why would someone do that? just for the fun or it...or am i missing something |

LOL I agree with the majority...NO way would I ever be interested in doing that to my poor baby!! That bright pink is ridiculous!!! |

Why anyone want a pink dog is beyond my powers of comprehension!! |
I would never do it.. |
