Oliver is 9 pounds.. I love that he's larger, I don't have to worry as much. He had a run in with a massive bull dog the other day (they smashed into each other chasing a ball, lol) and while he was a little stunned he was fine and just kept running.

These are my 2 boys. Dante the one in the pic by hisself is between 10 and 11 lbs.
Leo the smaller of the 2 is a 1/2 lb over the standard.
Somedays people ask what type of dog they are and sometimes they don't. I just politely inform them that they are just larger Yorkies.

My dear bear this past Christmas he was 17 and weighed 17lb until his last year when he dropped to 15. I have a picture of him on this new computer whci I got for Christmas so I will try to email it!

Daisy weighs 13 lbs and looks similar to your. She was the big one in a litter of 2, The smaller one was just to tiny.

Hamish, who is 15 years old, weighs in at about 16 lbs.

I brought him with me from Scotland, where, honestly, most of the yorkies were over 6 pounds, hardly any teeny tiny's. Here is him in his Christmas Elf suit. He is still not talking to me because of the hat!

I love him as much as my 3 pound 4 month old. Just tell people your baby is too special to be contained in a few pounds....all the love needed somewhere to grow.

Well, this guys as close to my Ally's size as any! She is pushing 17 lbs now and we just cut her back because the doc said he doesnt want her to gain anymore! At least we know shes healthy!

He is just too precious! Sweet face!

My girl weighs in anywhere from 8-10 pounds. I get the same question all the time. What kink of dog is that? I say yorkie and they go wow she is big! They look at her like somethings wrong with her. I personally love her size. She's sturdy and I don't have to worry about her as much.

my rufus is a large one too. he weighs almost 12 lbs. he is the biggest bully to all the much larger dogs we have, but a gentle giant to my 5lb. yorkie.

We just got back from the VET.

My "little" prince now weighs a whopping 19 pounds.

hello?? a 19 pound yorkie? yikes! and he is not actually "fat".

vet says not to worry, he is just "sturdy"

LOL

yeah, like, hurricane proof!

Hi I have an awesome Yorkie named Scamp and he weigh's in at a perfet 16lbs. we think he is great! he is so much fun to play with(not a little fragile dog) although that is what my wife wanted. I was very uneducated about the breed when I bought him as a 8week old puppy but I am not disappointed at all. I did a little research and I know I was supposed to insist on seeing the parents but I had no intentions on breeding him he was to be a family member. he does have the blue gray and gold non shedding coat. i do get asked is he a pure bred. I got regestration papers but he was registeres by the aca and I am not sure of the association but I really dont care I have a great fun health dog that my family loves. he also loves to dive in the pool he will swim till you force him to get out.I will soon post a few pics of him for you to see.

Our Prince Charlie weighs in around 12 pounds. He's great and Loves to play keep away! He never did grasp the concept of "bring it" or "drop it" lol but man, can he run with a huge stick! Love the big guys as much as our tiny girls:)
