Does this ever stop? I was wondering does this ever stop. Tonight I had a long evening at work, so I went and bought a bottle of wine when I got off of work, along with a box of white cheddar cheese its (Ethan loves those) and a chew bone for Ethan. Once the wine chilled I realized, I left my wine tool at my mother’s house because we had dinner there Sunday, so I go to Wal-Mart ONLY for a wine tool; I leave with a wine tool, doggie bed, doggie turkey jerky, and doggie tie. I find myself migrating to the pet section any time I go to a store that I think may have one no matter how big or small it may be; and sometimes I spend more time there than I do doing whatever I originally set out to do. Does this ever stop?:woof: |
Hehe, no, it doesn't change. Whenever I am on the internet, I browse my favourite online store and I know every pet shop in a 5 mile radius of wherever I am. I always browse the pet aisle in shops to see if they got anything new. I have accounts at most pet stores and vet stores:rolleyes: Good luck with that! Ps. I can't even stop shopping for new doggies!! I read all the classifieds I can get my hands on. |
Nope... I'm the same way. I am always looking for the next thing for Couver. My DH is starting to get upset :p |
lol my hubby gave me money to go treat myself to a new wardrobe of clothes , but guess who I spent it on, my baby lol she deserves it. |
Not here.....i always migrate on over to the pet section too!! Im glad to know im not the only one!!!:D |
I often plan my errands around what pet store or boutique is in that area. I can't remember the last time I bought myself a new dress...I bought Gracie Ruth the cutest one for Easter, just last week. I'm not just a shopaholic...I'm a Doggie Shopaholic. |
Nope it doesn't... you have a new love and you'll ALWAYS be thinking of him and looking for things for him! I once bought my boys Patriots Jerseys for $40 bc we are a Pats household and they were too cute! :) My boys don't even LIKE to wear clothes! LOL I buy bones, treats, and toys almost everywhere I go! LOL |
Um, nope! |
It only stops if/when you run out of money:laugh: |
Same for me. Always looking at the pet things. Sometimes nothing new but always something I really would like to have for her! |
Me Too DH and I usually go out to dinner every Saturday night....that is until I started spending our Sat. nite dinner money on Sully. I go to the store to "pick up" wee wee pads and end up spending money on toys, treats, shirts, etc and end up spending $50 to $60 bucks! ...it's insane. Today on my lunch hour I have to go to Petco and pick up some food. I promised DH that I wpuld not buy anything else so that we can go out to dinner instead. Wish me luck! |

haha - I do the same thing. My BF tells me to stop shopping for my girl. Shes has EVERYTHING she can possible need. :p ........... but I think not! |
Nope, it does not stop. I think it only gets worse! |
How funny!! I'm sure I'll be the exact same way once the puppy gets here!! I already have plans tomorrow to go to Petsmart!! |
I do the exact same thing. Lastnight went in Walmart because I needed laundry soap. We left with cat liter, cat treats, dog treats, dog toys, dog bones...and a much lighter wallet..lol :D |
Me too I am guilty, I think it only get worse as well. Love buying new things for my babies it makes me so happy to see their little tails a wagging. :D |
It never stop . I recently discovered some adorable dog boutiques . Guess what happened every pay check . |
My shopping definitely slowed down when I realized that I was really buying doggie stuff for me! Edie doesn't really need anything except some toys, food, the daily treat, and quality time with me. I have a lot of doggie stuff from the first few years that I had Edie (she is 8-1/2 years old now). So I rarely buy anything except toys (which she tears up pretty quickly). |
My boyfriend came home the other day after walking Chase. He told me that two separate people (who he always runs into) commented that he had more clothes than he did! Uh-oh. Signs of a shopaholic mommy! Make me stop! |

Last night my son-in-law was putting a very beautiful bow (he found on the counter) in my granddaughter Alexa's hair. I overheard him say look Alexa Nannie bought you the prettiest bow I have ever seen. I stood there for a second.......and decided I had better be honest. ( I didnt want them to take it home with them!) "A Josh that is for Carlie" ..........Busted! I feel better after seeing this thread, I thought maybe something was wrong with me. :p |
No, it never stops. Good bye Macy's and Dillards...hello Pet Smart, Pet Co and the zillion pet boutiques we go to. |
I am horrible about buying clothes for Tobie, I have to have everything that I order shipped to my mom's house and end up telling my BF that "grandma got it for him" :p I know its bad when I rather go shopping for Tobie instead for me and I love love love to go shopping for me! But now when I get home from shopping Tobie has to get into the sack to see whats in there for him....hes not spoiled at all  |
I do the samething...have to check out the pet department first.. |
Ummmmmmmmmmm Bailey will be 5 in May and I still end up spending way too much money on things that he MUST have!!!! :) |
