Don't you just hate it when you get caught...
 
doing something completely goofy with/for your furbutts?

So there I was in the middle of the living room singing Norman's song and dancing while he jumped in circles and "sang" and "danced" along.

In case anyone is wondering the words to Norman's special song are (and keep in mind his nickname is "Pookie Bear")

I make up songs for my dogs and sing it to them all the time! lol. My hubby does it too so I don't have to worry about getting caught. We are both crazy :D hehe

I know how you feel. I sometimes get embarrassed when people see me singing Joshie's favorite song, but then I get over it. I love seeing him get so excited. He loves baby talk and cheers which is priceless. I also think it is so entertaining to watch him get so happy. It puts a smile on my face. I enjoy singing the Joshie Boy song. I can't stop singing that song, because it brings joy in both of our lives.

What I don't understand is why my family always acts so shocked when they seem me doing it.

They all know I am crazy when it comes to my furbutts.

We just walk around the house like we are in a parade. The just follow me. I usually take a tin pan or 2 wooden spoons and we just walk. I like to see how long they will follow me before figuring out I'm going no where. haha. Call me nuts that's ok I'm nuts for my babies.:D

I can't sing....or atleast try not too...if I did I think my girls would start howling...

But I baby talk them ALL the time...and they get really excited...I think it is kinda funny ...cuz I NEVER baby talked my kids!!! Whut up with that?? I know...I joined the YORKIE LOVER CRAZY CLUB!!! I can admit it!

My dog loves all types of singing the good and the bad LOL. My whole family sings to the dogs. My mother comes up with most of the songs. My dogs like excited tone in the voice and not the sound of the voice. They love excitement (energy).

YOU totally crack me up!!! But I sing to my babies too!! All the time. The thing I love best is that they don't care that I can't carry a tune they just tilt their head from side to side. They especially seem to like it when I start to march and dance around....:rolleyes::D

Sometimes....luckily though, we think EXACTLY alike so I always know what is being said...regardless of number of barks. Sometimes there aren't any barks. I just KNOW what they are going to say! ;)

Aww, that's cute. :) I don't have a song for Tila, but I got busted singing "Rubber Duckie" when I was giving her a bath, I was in the bathroom just singing away washing my baby and I could hear everyone in the living room laughing. lol.

Have you guys seen the movie Chicago, with Renee Zelweger and Catherine Zeta?

I sing the "Roxie Hart" song to my dog allll the time. My husband thinks I'm loony. My Rox loves it though, lol!

I even do the dance and the weird whispery background voices too. Oh boy!

This is funny. I was at the park today walking the babies and we came upon a lady sitting on a bench who was afraid of dogs. Daisy ran up to her to be petted looking soooo cute and wagging her tail. Since the lady wouldn't pet her, Daisy barked at her. The lady asked me "what did she say"? lol I told her Daisy said "pet me, pet me".

Missy has a song too. It's "M-I-S-S-Y M-O-U-S-E....Missy MOUSE, Missy MOUSE.....wherever we go, we raise our Missy high, HIGH, HIGH *as I pick her up and raise her up in the air*. It's sung to the Micky Mouse Club Lyrics of course, and I sing it as obnoxiously as I can. Really enunciating the MOUSE part. She loves it :p

It's a good thing that the rest of my family acts as crazy when it comes to Missy as I do. :rolleyes:
