What kind of camera do you have? Is there a setting for animals or movement? That's what I use. When you use that setting, you push the trigger just a little for it to focus and then you have to push it the rest of the way to take the picture. I will push it to focus and then just aim for her and wait until I see a shot, then I push it the rest of the way. It takes much faster and is already in focus that way. Also, another general rule..........for every 25 pictures you take, you will probably only get a few good ones! LOL! I normally find the really good ones when I look through after taking them and most of the time, they aren't the ones I was trying for in the first place! Good luck! |

Thanks! I've been practicing but haven't had a chance to really look and see if I managed any good shots. I do have several settings but I usually just leave it on Auto out of laziness. Trying a different setting is something I haven't practiced with yet, but I will! |
i called his name and hold a treat above the camera. He will sit and wait for the treat. Of course, there are a ton of bad ones and a few good ones. |
1 Attachment(s) Yorkie Yummies! That's what gets Maddie and Libby interested in photo sessions! I have them sit or stand and "stay" and while holding the yorkie yummies in one hand, I take the picture, or pictures...and then give them each a treat. I still get many that I delete, but usually end up with a good one out of the bunch. Also, Maddie squints her eyes when she thinks it's going to flash, so I have to make noises and act crazy to get her to be wide eyed. I have them model for my website and hopefully, tomorrow, we'll be having a photo session with new dresses. Wish me luck! LOL Here's one of my favorites of Maddie and Libby... |
Chloe hates the camera. I have pretty much gave up on taking pictures of her posing because she will avoid it no matter what trick I use:(. |
