I am so very sorry for your loss! I know all too well the pain of losing a dear pet like our Yorkies. I just went through losing my sweet girl too. We will never understand in this life why they had to go so soon. I guess Heaven needs wonderful, loving pets too.

We just need to concentrate on the joy they brought us during their shortened lives. We need to feel some comfort in the knowledge that we provided them with a happy life while they were with us, that we gave them plenty of love and affection, and they were always safe and cared for. My condolences to you and your family. I know you will miss little Abbie terribly.

I'm so sorry for you and your family and you are in my prayers. We lost our Kady 2 weeks ago and I can find peace just knowing that she is healthy now and running all around in heaven. I'm sure your little one is there too.

Oh my goodness!!! This is my biggest fear!!!! I'm so very sorry about your precious loss of Abbie!!!! My daughter lost her baby this last weekend..and it's just so devastating!!! My heart is absolutely breaking for you right now!!!

This is one reason why I keep putting off Tulips spaying surgery!! She's so small I'm just terrified...and horror stories like this just amplify my fears!!!

You are in my thoughts!!!

I am very sorry for your sudden loss of a healthy dog. I can not imagine what you are going through. I will pray for you and your family.

I am sooooo very sorry. It is a shock even if they are sick and you are expecting it but to be hit with something like that is horrible. We almost lost our little Tina (toy schnauzer) when she was spayed. She had blood work the week before with her yearly check up so I didn't think she would need to have it again. She almost bled to death because they found out she had VonWellingbrand's disease, which schnuzers get passed on from the mother. I know how it hurts to lose one too. We lost our little Mandy in Nov. so I know how your heart is breaking. No words will really help except to just grieve and let time heal you. God bless. May little Abbey rest in peace. Sweet little Angel.

Oh, dear, I am so sorry for your loss! I just hate to see these threads, especially since spaying/neutering is in our babies best interest! I am so paranoid to spay Lulu now. I really am scared to take the chance...my thoughts and best wishes are with you, and I know how hard it is to make sense out of something that seems so senseless. I hope time takes away your pain.

I\'m so sorry. I lost Millie last week, 5 days after her spay, so I know how are you are feeling. We are devasted. I think the "what ifs" and "whys" make it so much harder. I feel guilty and frustated that she had to die so soon. You will go through a range of emotions over the next while.

I cannot express how much your words mean to me. Others just cant quite understand the pain. It is like, Aw, too bad, next topic. I know time will heal, but I lost my poodle Beau over eight years ago, and I still feel it like it was yesterday. He was 12 when he died. I reference him occasionally in conversation. I know people must think I am crazy. They sure can steal your heart. :cry8:
