Funny things your dog does?
 

Our dog does a ton of funny things, and I would love to hear about some other funny habits.

Buddy does a little treat dance when he knows he is getting one. He will run over to the cupboard where the treats are turn in place 360 degrees. Also, he loses his mind when we come in the door (even if it was just to check the mail). He will jump on the back of the couch to give a few quick kisses, then jump down and run across the room, come back to the couch for more kisses...rinse and repeat. He ususally calms down after a minute or so. Also, he is very very naughty. He likes to take things he knows aren't his. When he does, he will run out his doggy door in the sliding glass door with the object. He will run the span of the yard at light speed, back and forth. You only catch quick glimpses of him through the door. It is like only being able to see the net in a tennis match. Zooooom....zooooom. Hilarious!!! Also, when we play, we like to hide his sqeaky toys under a blaket or pillow and squeak them. He will get on top of that blanket or pillow and start digging away with his front paws. Then he will stop, back up, and kick his back legs out like a bull...like he's tough. It is so funny.

What are the things your dog does? Maybe some of the same things?

lol..that is soo cute!! Tobie will huff and sigh if he doesn't get his way or if he wants something and no one is paying attetion. He will also get his favorite toy (Mr. Monkey) and sits on top of the couch pillow with him and then drop him onto the couch and will start to whine so you have to pick it up and play with him. He is very spoiled!

Harley loves to do the bull kick tooo! We think it is so funny, he tries to get Tayah to play by doing that to her and then he runs around in circles until he gets her attention!!! Now Tayah, she has this thing when I am on the computer she gets up on the bed and paws the back of my chair to let me know it is time to go out! With my husbund she gets on his lap and paws his chin!!! It is so funny! Thanks for starting this thread, I love to hear nice stories on funny things all our babies do!!!!:)

I love reading the stories. My two are 7months old and 4months old. I feed them and they have to sit to get their food;). I watch them eat...They finish eating and then switch bowls to clean up each others mess. They do this everytime they eat. It's so cute:p
This morning I was laying in bed drinking coffee and watching the news. I look down and chloe had her whole head in my cup (it was empty, so she cleaned it up)...My husband took a pic;)

How funny! Seriously, yorkies have the BEST Personalities out of all breeds in MY personal opinion.. they are the most like little humans.. :)

Great thread! After Nemo goes potty outside he does his little "Victory Lap" around the living room like he's the king its too cute! He's three months old now and he's trying to lift his leg when he goes out to potty...its just too funny! He tries so hard to keep it up but his little baby legs aren't too strong yet!

Yorkies are just the best clowns. Pao really make me laugh every day with his antics. One of the things he does is when he hides his toys and needs to get them back, he doesn't want to do it himself. He will whimper and do little barks as if he is trying to talk to get my attention to retrieve the toys for him eventhough it is within reach! For whatever reason, he doesn't want to take it himself :rolleyes:.

The other night, when he was asleep, he was dreaming and I saw his tail wagging as fast as a helicopter thumping on to the bed and his tongue was out halfway and he was doing the sucking motion while drooling! It was the first time I see him do that and it was hillarious! I think he was dreaming of when he was a pup and still nursing from his mom. Just too cute.

That's so cute!!! Yogi likes to drink coffee too, :coffee44: but his head doesn't exactly fit into the cup so DH tilts it so that he can have a sip. Yogi thinks he'd like DH's beer :beermug: too, but he's not getting any of that. :D He's our clown, he'll stand straight up to get a closer look at something. His arms hang down by his side. He looks just like the pictures you see of bears when they stand up. And he can stand there like that for the longest time.

Tia turns in circles when she wants me to throw her ball and lays down and stamps her feet when she wants me to play hide the teddy,just:eyetearss like a little toddler .Oh and brings me her toothbrush when she wants to brush her teeth.I love it

Wow...Tia brings her toothbrush to get her teeth brushed? Wow..I am blown away!

charlie does a lot of funny things. The newest cute and funny thing he loves right now is to be swaddle like a baby. That is his new sleeping habit also. He won't sleep if I don't wrap him up in his towel and put another to cover him with his little head sticking out.

She loves her teeth being brushed lol and her nails done and being brushed, she just likes to be pampered, isnt this normal?:animal-pa

Not with mine...he runs away playing catch and chase game with me when he sees me coming with the toothbrush and then he ends up in his bed lying down to have his teeth brushed. As for nails, I won't even dream of doing it myself he fights me all the way lol.

Oh I se I thought they all loved to be pampered lol she especially loves me putting her bows in her hair every morning lol

Molly does some of the funniest things I've ever seen.

She thinks she's a cat!

If we're downstairs, she usually naps on the back of the couch, but if I'm in the kitchen or at the dining table, she lays on the floor. The funny thing is, she'll walk around in circles and scratch at the carpet. Just like a cat does.........But like, she's trying to make the carpet fluffy, for her liking. haha!

I also think she's OCD, [like her mommy :p], because she repeats things, like the way she lays down, until it "feels right" to her.

After she goes potty outside, [pee or poo], she kicks the grass up behind her, like a donkey, trying to cover it up. lmao. So funny.

She makes groaning noises if you wake her up, or if she's trying to go to sleep and the t.v. is too loud. lol. just like a frustrated kid.
And she sighs and looks up at you without moving her head upward, so it looks like she's giving you a dirty look. :mad: hahaha!

Oh, and she takes her dry food out and puts in on the floor, eats the soft food first, then eats the dry food. :rolleyes:

She's so special. lol.
