Well, after a little investigation, my daughter found blood stains on the couch. And i dont remember her going into heat. And up until tonight, they have been together. They are seperated now. But how will we know for sure if he has gotten to her? |
I thought she wouldn't be fertile until the days following the bleeding? |

Unfortunately, we have no idea how long the stains have been there. they are not "fresh" for sure. We are pretty bummed at the moment. My husband has always dealt with breeding, and he has been working non stop for months. He looked at it too, and said thats probably why he is jumping her. :( |

Well if she is no longer bleeding, she either could be in her estrus time or she could be alomst done with her heat. All females are very different. My Tayah's bleeding slowed way down very early in her heat. She kept herself very clean, so we used a tissue to see if she still had any red. You will just have to keep them seperate if your not for sure. She could have gotten PG so watch for any signs of PG! |
Ok! We've found out the "blood" spots was actually nail polish. Thank goodness! And i took macy in today to the vet to make SURE, and he said shes NOT in heat. He only tries to do this when she gets him all riled up. She has a habit of provoking him. So we are thinking its a dominance issue! Thank everyone for the advice, as im sure ill have to look back on it once she hits that stage!! :) |
There are females that have been known to have silent heats so it's always a possiblity even if you don't see any spotting. Good luck. Might be a touch of dominance now as he is starting to sexually mature. |
