Poor baby! But your didn't do anything wrong, it was that BREEDER!! You should let people know who it was! Or at least let people know where they are located and if anyone is interested in buying a dog from that area, they could PM you to find out if its the breeder that you used.. Good luck with Bailee and Daisy!! |
:luvu: Thanks for all the caring replys You Ladies really are the Best !! :luvu: Quote:
Daisy is almost 4 mths old now ! I didn't take Her to the breeder's house it wasn't until after I came home with Bailee that Daisy got to meet Him (Thank God ) because I was going to take Her and thought better of it before I left ! Thanks again,Tami |
I am so sorry you are going through this. I agree with what Villette said. I believe that things happen for a reason ... your baby boy is beautiful and if I were you I would just love him, nurse him back to health and never look back! Anything you might try to do in retaliation to that sorry breeder will probably be useless and you would just expend time, energy and money that you could focus on your Yorkie babies!! Please keep us updated on little Bailee and Daisey and don't blame yourself for something that's certainly not your fault!! Give them sweet puppy kisses from Toto! ;) |
Whooooaaaaaaa..... I feel for your and your babies Daisy and Bailey but I am really glad that you have him now and are doing all you can to get this little one back into good health. Your Daisy is going to be fine too.....They sure are lucky to have you for their MOMMIE!!!!! |
Your sweet baby boy will feel better soon. He's so lucky to have found a good, caring mama like you. My heart breaks when I look at his sweet little leg in that cast. :'( |
I am so sorry you had such a bad experience. There is no excuse for the way this breeder handled the matter. Unfortunately, coccidia is a common puppy disease and you are lucky you called her about the leg and she told you about the coccidia so you could finish his course of treatment. A lesson to be learned from this is to always speak to the vet that examined the puppy, treated it and gave it a good bill of health (or not) before the purchase. I hope Bailey is better soon. I doubt Daisy will get it because she is older and it sounds like it was almost out of the baby boys' system when you brought him home. |
I am so sorry that happened to you and your babies. It's not your fault though. She definitely should have told you what was going on. At least now he is with someone who will watch over him. Good luck! |
Im so sorry that this breeder handle this situation so bad. Im just glad that Little Bailey have found you to care for him, poor little guy. The breeder knew he had coccidia and forgot to tell you. I cant believe that, she just wanted her money and lie to you. Coccidia is treatable so hopefully he will be ok. Also Daisy hopefully will be fine. Just watch her if you see any loose stool take her to the vet ASAP. Im concern with his leg, I really hope it heal well. That is something else that the breeder lied about. Good luck and congrat on your new puppy. |
Congratulations on your new baby- he is adorable. Thank goodness you are responsible and came into his life to make him well. I want to smack your breeder after that story. Good for you for calling as a potential buyer to out her. Did you tell her who you were after she lied? How did you hear about this woman? Can you report her to AKC? Better business bureau? You should be able to do something- she's an awful person. Olivia sends lots of "get well soon" puppy kisses! |
Poor you, poor Bailey, and poor Daisy! I'm really sorry to hear about this terrible ordeal! I know it is heart breaking for you and also so scary! It's really so sad that people will put others in such jeopardy to make a quick buck. Lucky you seem to be a wonderful, loving, and dedicated mommy, and that's just what Mr. Bailey needs in his life. I think you did the right thing to make her pay, and I would make her pay for everything else that has to do with his leg, and his parasite! It's just so sad that some breeders do this type of thing, and although it may just be a few people scamming others, and treating their poor helpless puppies badly and then trying to dell them for an arm and a leg claiming they are in the best of shape, it really makes people skeptical of everyone when buying dogs ( I know that was wordy, but I hope it makes sense!) I believe that you should put her name out there to warm others of her deceit and maltreatment of the puppies. She but Bailey's life in danger, as well as Daisy's life by lying to you...and also any other family's dogs, etc. So if you put her name out there you could help another family from being hurt, and stop this woman from making money off these poor puppies. On a happier note, congrats on your new little guy! I wish him the best recovery, and I hope Daisy stays well! You're a wonderful momma, and as everyone keeps saying, I'm sure it was meant to be. Good luck! Hannah |

Thank You for the sweet reply.I wanted to answer Your questions. first,I wish I could smack Her too but back to the real world *LOL* I never did let on who I was and maybe I should have had a confrontation with Her but I think that would just upset Me more and why lower Myself to her level,Don't You agree ? I had been watching are local news paper classifieds and I had been going and looking at different Yorkies for a few weeks and none compared to Bailee.Maybe that was My fault I didn't do My homework first but I did read about what to look for when getting a new pup and it said to look for fleas, pale gums, temperment, shot records, papers, parents and of course I did all that but this lady was good like She had did this before,You know? She brought Bailee outside to Us knowing now that I look back that He would not run and play because of the e-way being right there .I am positive She knew about He's leg now that I look back and I know She remembered that the little guy was sick,How could You just forget about that? But I should have takin a better look or had Him checked by My vet first. But again I trusted Her and Where in this world has all the trust in people went? Forget Us,I feel for poor little Bailee. How could She do that to Him ? As far as Akc,I am looking in to this as We speak !!! I live in Toledo,Ohio and thats where I got Bailee.A personal breeder Here. And there is nobody from Toledo on the boards I know of, so I can't do much as far as spreading the word about Her,But if There is anybody out there whom needs to know more about breeders in Toledo,Ohio I would be more then happy to voice My opinion.Bailee did not act sick either He just acted scarred of new people, thats the way I took it. Again Thank You so much for Your reply :luvu: Tami |
that is horrible! That illness is very treatable. I'm surprised that your vet didn't want to go ahead and have your other baby on it as a precaution. He'll be okay but you need to list the breeder's name...in a new thread...to warn others about her. You are very lucky that she even showed up at the vet's office. A lot of bad breeders would not have done that. Keep us updated on your little ones! |
poor baily & daisy i feel so bad for you! that lady was a irresopnsible doozy. when i used to breed or offer ch. stud service i always gave the prpspectives my vet's # as a reference. my prayers r with u, baily & daisy! i agree w ur vet. u were the angel to rescue him! :( Quote:
