Ok now look.....the sigh...after all the work of arranging would just SLAY ME!!!! Oh that is HILARIOUS...these yorkies. |
Yup, Remy does the same thing. His bed is a squishy square pillow and soft throw.... he will put the corner of the pillow in his teeth and pull it into a new location, then rearrange the throw with his paws.... its hilarious |
Sorry I didnt read every post here as I am at work (heehee). But is that what it is??? My 7 months old sometimes goes into this scratching frenzy to a pillow or blanket ... usually at night. He's also done it twice to our sofa. What is that??? Is that his way of making his bed? What is he doing?? |
Chanel does it and its the funniest thing. First I thought she was a neat freak and didn't like to sleep on folds in the blanket. |
It really cracks me up. Stewart will twirl and scratch, twirl and scratch, twirl and scratch . . . etc!!! then come curl up under my neck or crawl under the covers. It is the funniest thing! |
My Jack does it all the time too! In fact when he wants to make a scene he'll growl and start to scratch the carpet and will turn in circles a few times so that we know that he's in the room. It's the cutest thing! |

:D Bella does this too as well as my maltichon, Chloe. It is so funny to watch them digging and scratching and turning this way and that way to make their beds. |
1 Attachment(s) :DThis is what Chip does! He usually is all the way under the covers, but when he gets too hot he ends up like this.:dogzzz: Attachment 270302 |
Animal behavorists believe this action goes back to when dogs lived in the wild and were matting down the tall grass and making themselves a more comfortable sleeping area. |
My dogs have always done that. They look so cute when doing it. |
