Gracie Ruth's grows just like that too. But what I find amazing is that days I leave it down, she's rather quiet and subdued. Days that it's in a top knot she's a little firecracker. All bouncy and bubbly. hmmmm

I wish Tobie would let me put his hair in top knot, the groomers did it one time and as soon as we got home he got it out! I have tired to do it myself as well but it never looks good when I do it. After seeing how cute they look with a top knot I am gonna grow his hair out and try it again.

Lol, I love the before and after pictures, reminds me of a poor little rescue, and voilą she becomes pampered pet. What a little beauty you have.

Finally gave up...
 
I was growing Cassi's top knot for awhile and last week decided to cut it short...and did just that. I just couldn't stand all her hair in her face when I left it down. Now, I still have a full container of petsilk gel and a few bows that I purchased previously. I need to figure out what do with it now, since I no longer need it. :rolleyes:

I wonder that too. It's really funny how her whole body language seems to change. Sometimes it's mid morning before I get around to putting it up. And it's like a switch was flipped. Moppey :sad: one second, all bouncy :happyboun the next. I don't know what it is, but it is really cute to watch! :)

Thanks Nancy :p she really does look like a poor pathetic rescue every morning when she wakes up.lol I remove her topknot before bed,it's amazing how much she transforms through the night,kind of like the reverse Cinderella lol

I just had to laugh at these post. I thought Katie was the only one who looked like this. You have made my day with the laughs and feeling like Katie is not the only one who sucks on her hair that hangs over he eyes (LOL)
Katie cant or chooses not to keep her hair up and out of her eyes, so I am constantly brushing or pushing away from her eyes.

I was wondering the same thing. I tried to put a clip/barrett in his hair (with a skull on it, of course) and he put his head down and rubbed it on the rug. It came out, naturally. Gunnar's daddy has a beautiful coat and top knot. He is very handsome. Even tho Gunnar is my baby, the skin kid and hubby said he needed a puppy cut. I caved. But, it's coming close to that decision again, so I think I'll get some hair gel and try it! And some of those tiny bands.

Me too...I see all the cute pics of tidy topknots and felt like my baby was the only scruffy looking girl. Even though I think she looks kinda cute that way. It seems to fit her tomboy personality.
