| I just got my new baby too, the breeder told me for the first few days to lay on the floor with her so I didnt look like a big giant trying to capture her.. she slowly came over to me and we do alot of floor play instead of me standing up on top of her, now she is my love bug, she sleeps under my neck. I think I would be scared to if I were only 5 inches high and this big giant person came hovering over me trying to pick me up.. it worked for us |

| How old is Charlie? Not sure about adult dogs but puppies do go through a stage where they are scared of a lot of things. Pao went through that stage as well. Just don't force them if they are afraid and let him be. Try to get him to come to you if he is scared but don't go to him. The puppy stage of fear usually don't last very long.

| Dymond went through a scary stage at about 5 months. It seemed like everything scared her. If we tried to pick her up she would run and hide then one day as suddenly as it started she was back to her old self.
