quote=xxmxaxrxyxx;2505651]that was my intention to get the police involved but they don't want to help me...the sent me out of the police station pissed off...[/quote] I'm sorry the police treated you this way, I've been a Police Officer for 21 years and one thing I have learned we help people in any way we can crime related or not. This may be crime related if the person found your dog and now won't give it back it is a larceny and it is a crime. If it is a misdemeanor or a felony depends on the worth of the property. Which me being a new Yorkie owner I couldn't put a price on it. It probably would be a Felony depending on you state. Always remember this if the local police will not help try the State Police and maybe call local TV station maybe they will do a story on it. One thing the police don't like is other departments doing there job for them or looking bad on TV. I hope when you were at the police station you ask to speak to a supervisor. I really hope you find you dog, I will be praying for you. |

Just checking in. We're still thinking of you and praying for Yoshi's safe return. |
There are so many pages to read and I didn't read all of them. So I'm sorry if I'm asking again. Was that girl ruled out, the one who called and left the VM? Can you find out if your Animal Control has a microchip scanner in their car/truck? I just can't believe there isn't anything else we can do to help you other than to send prayers your way. It makes us all feel helpless I'm sure. Well I speak for myself anyway. Someone has him, it's just a waiting game now. |
oh I have a idea Some people just don't like to get involved or talk. What if you developed a website just for info on him. Put out all flyers again with him being lost and put the website addy in the flyers. They can post or email you with info if they have it. They can invent a email addy so they don't have to use their real one. Maybe someone would respond in that way? I'm shooting for straws but anything at this point right? I would make the website name or your email addy name as short as possible so it will be easy for them to remember after they see the flyer. Keep the faith!!! |
Im so sorry that he is still missing. ((hugs)) I still keep checking for good news. I will continue to keep him in my thoughts and prayers. |
Just checking on Yoshi. Thinking of you, Mary. Love, Diane |
as i am looking at all the news on Yorkies...i come across this...and i wonder why my local paper doesn't allow us to do something like this...argh! Clanton Advertiser | Reward offered for missing Yorkie Reward offered for missing Yorkie Published Saturday, March 7, 2009 Dear Editor, I am writing this letter asking the person who picked up a Yorkie on Feb. 10 to please return him to his family. He was wearing a blue collar with the name and phone number of his owners. He is a very dear member of our family and we miss him very much. My granddaughter misses him so much; she would giggle every time he came into the room with her. We are offering a $500 reward for his safe return. He also has allergies and requires shots every six weeks and it is time for his heart worm pill which he was due to get on March 28. Please return him to us as we have had Leo every since he was a puppy, he was a graduation gift for my daughter-in-law. The person who picked him up must know how to get in touch with us and I cannot understand how someone could take a pet that they knew would be missed terribly. The person who picked Leo up may have removed the collar and gave him to someone else as a gift. If this is the case, I hope the person who now has Leo will read this letter and understand Leo was taken from us. Please call us at 755-2640 or 389-2136. Again, I am asking that our dear Leo be returned to us. — Debbie Orange, Clanton |
Probably because they must know for a fact that their dog was stolen, and that he didn't take off on his own. I don't think newspapers will run articles for every lost pet only stolen ones. |
I guess if one took out an ad one could do the same thing. I bet it is really expensive though. Mary I'm so sorry you haven't found your little one yet. I will keep praying for both of you. Do you believe in psychics? does anyone know a good one? |

Ok, I found her website. sonyafitzparick.com Here's the link to get a reading: Sonya Fitzpatrick Readings It says she won't do anything to help find a lost pet though... :( But maybe you could have her talk to Kioko (right?), who went out with Yoshi and ask what they did and where they went? Hope that helps! :) |
I have used a Pet PI here in Oklahoma. She designed some awesome posters and after hanging them we found our "lost" one within 30 minutes. If you would like to see one of her posters I can email it to you. Hopeing and praying you find Yoshi soon! (((((HUGS))))) |
