Here is an email I received, sounds like a scam to me. What do you think?

Thank you for your mail, I am ok with the price , I am buying it for my first daughter in canada As a birthday gift, I will like you to send me more pictures anytime you re changes so I can show my daughter ..I will be mailing out Payment to you by UPS Courier Services As for the Shipping You don't have to Bother yourself I have Make arrangement for a Special Professionals who is specialized in shipping of PETS All Equipment he has For Shipping PETS. So you don't need to be Worried...and for there not to be delay in the shipping I would be sending Additional Funds together on the Check ,when You receive it do get it cashed, Remove your Money for the Puppy. And then send the Rest to My shipper by then I might have gotten his or her information so I can forward it to you...so he can come Over to your Location to have Puppy Pickup.Cause I wouldn't be Around to do that I am Going for a Christian Missionary Trip I will be Needing your Full Information Below. Full Name that will be written on Money Order: .......................................

This says SCAM ALL over it!!!!!!!!

Yes definitely!! It will be funds like a money order or check that will be out of the state and be fraudulent. They want you to cash it in get the money from your account then give them the remainder. Later down the line your bank will find out it is fake then charge you the whole amount. So in essence they will have a free puppy and extra money all courtesy of you!!!!!! There is a thread on here somewhere about this.

Any time someone throws out that....I'll send you a check and you send me the remainder...it's a scam. That cashier's check is counterfeit.

Ya scam for sure.

I received many a suspicious e-mail about my last litter.

Always the same text but with different sender. I didn't reply to any.

And some weird phone calls too...

So many scam out there!

Thanks for all the input, I defionitely thought it smelled like a scam. It didnt even make sense to me. If you are hiring a transporter then why don't you just pay them?

I think I will ask him that and play with him for a while.

Yes there are so many scams and they said on 20/20 last night, it will get worse as the economy gets worse.

HA I wrote and told him I would prefer that he gives the check to the courier and they can cash it and bring me the caxh when they come to get the puppy. LOL
