| Snoopy's birthday is March 10 too! And this will be his first birthday. I can't believe that a year ago, he wasn't in my life. I had no idea what I was missing. My son and daughter in law have his littermate, so we'll probably celebrate it together. I was thinking of making a dog-healthy 'cake'. And one the non-furry family members, unless I find a recipe for dogs that sounds tasty to people. I was going to look through YT for recipes, but haven't gotten around to it yet. And presents of course! No special party clothes--they're boys, and aren't into clothes. I'd love to hear what everyone says, and what you end up doing! Happy upcoming birthday, Milu!

| Hi you!! HAPPY EARLY BDAY MILU!!! How exciting, I can't wait until Snickers is 1, in July!! I am having a doggy bash actually. I am sending out a doggy evite or personal mailed invitaion for the guests (inviting about 20) and having it in our front yard (it's private.) Snick will have his own special crown (you can find at specialty stores) and we will try to put crowns on the guests hahaha! Then we will have carrot cake made by a local dog bakery as well as water bowls. Then we will have a tricks show and each guest can show their best trick!! I will have all kinds of toys and tings out too. Then to end, the doggies can play and then upon leaving all guests will get a doggy bag of course filled with Snick's favorite goodies. I can't wait to decorate the yard. Let me know if you think of anything else that is super cute!! How fun!!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | While I was searching for a site that had dog bone cookie cutters and dog bone ice cube trays, I discovered this site. Good Dog Express-Natural Organic Dog Treats It has several birthday themed items which you may find useful for your Yorkie's birthday. I know I saw a dog bone shaped cake pan. Plus, I found this little recipe when I was looking for the other things which almost sounds like an "ice cream" treat for the dogs. Soooooo...if you wanted to have cake and "ice cream" this is an idea. Get the ice trays like I did and you can freeze the recipe as bones! My favorite homemade frosty paws recipe! http://static.squidoo.com/resize/squ...ngredients.JPG Johann's recipe for homemade frosty paws! Ingredients Needed: * 1 large container (32 oz) of low-fat, plain, organic yogurt * 3 handfuls of fresh (organic is best) blueberries * 1 banana * 2 tbsp of organic peanut butter * Other fruit as desired - like, apple slices, orange slices, pineapple slices, and more. Instructions: Chop up the banana in small pieces (or mash) and mix all ingredients together. Place the mixture in ice cube trays and freeze for about 3 hours. Once frozen, run hot water over the under side of the trays, pop out the frosty paws, and serve. That's it. For fun, you can use bone shaped ice cube trays! | I hope you get her a cute shirt! Or a birthday hat. Since your in San Jose you can go to Happy Go Lucky, they have some cute stuff. Or some of the doggy shops in Los Gatos or on Lincoln Ave! Are you going to have a doggy party with some doggy friends? Or will it just be the bunnies? When you do something, post pics! I can/can't wait for mines bday, but its not till July.

| Hi Travis just had a birthday and we went to a dog bakery named 3 dog bakery and got him a cake made and it wasn't expensive at all. The cake was made in a bone shape and they loved it. Plus the good thing is you can freeze it. 3dogbakery also have a web site to find a store near you.

| For Rory's first birthday last August, we did an Alice in Wonderland themed tea party. We held it at her doggie daycare, and I think it was fun time for all. We had Alice themed trivia for the "parents". The dogs had races, played a version of musical chairs (we used doilies taped to the ground instead of chairs), and the grand finale was a pinata that dumped out mini tennis balls (Rory's favorite toy) when it cracked. We also gave out "medals" to the winners of the different events. The daycare provided the doggie friendly cake, which was a bone shape. We did goodie bags for all the dogs (10 plus of her closest pals) that included a dog bowl that had "Drink Me" handpainted on it, a dog cookie from the local doggie bakery that said "Eat Me" (both takeoff of Alice in Wonderland), a collar charm, and bubbles (trying to keep with the theme). Okay, I got carried away...now we have to find out a way to top it with her second birthday!
