Thank you for saying that because I am very upset about this & some other posters have said I should have made sure my vet info was correct but that is what I thought I did when I copied Precious' paperwork from her old vet & hand delivered it to the new vet. And yes I am going to tell the vet that the office staff made a HUGE mistake & ruined my chance on getting any dogs from from that rescue ever! I am just so bummed:( but i\'ll let you know what the vet says after the 18th when she goes for her boosters. MOMMY OF PRECIOUS:aimeeyork | I hope you didn\'t\' take what I said the wrong way. What I was trying to say is that when I was in the process of adopting Doodlebug, I didn\'t assume they had everything in order. I\'ve learned this lesson the hard way over the years and double checked, told the vet what I was planning on doing and to expect a call. I knew that rescues are tuff to adopt from and didn\'t want anything to happen to ruin my chances of adopting him. I made them open the files and look that all of my records were in order while I was there. I understand that you dropped the paperwork off and you would THINK they did everything correctly but  Now as for this vets office, I would go there and personally make the vet aware of what happened to your chance of adopting a dog from the rescue. Maybe he could rectify what his negligent staff has done with their lack of record keeping. Personally, unless you REALLY love this vet I would be looking for some place new. |
