Where do you store your furbaby's clothing?
 
Ok, my obsession with buying clothes has been getting worse and worse with the cold weather this winter! The only problem is that I have no idea where I'm going to put all this clothing! My closets are full of my own clothes!

I was wondering if you could all post descriptions/picture of were you store your dog clothes. I really want a wardrobe/armoire, but all the ones I find online are sooo expensive!

Does anyone know someone who makes dog furniture that won't break the bank?

I love this one, but wow its alot!

Sorry no pics...but ours is stored in stackable plastic bins with drawers. They fit nicely in my closet.

Nice armorie. :) I just found a carrier I LOVE...priced 1,890.00. Not kidding.

I did have the girls things hanging on tiny doggie hangers in a closet my husband made special for them, but decided to do it differently to keep them cleaner by putting them in clear plastic containers on the shelves. I have Zada on top, Azrael in the middles and Razael at the bottom.

Which drawers do you use? Right now I'm using one of those Rubbermaid rollarounds, but the drawers keep coming off the track and I've filled it up. I think I'm just in a spring cleaning mode and want to replace everything!

Crazy expensive carrier there! Are you going to get it?

Hmmm, I've never thought about using the longer containers. I bet that helps with the wrinkles!

I can't remember the brand but they don't roll around. The feet pieces on the bottom are made in such a way you can stack them on top of each other and they don't move. I'm guessing the drawers themselves measure 1' wide,
1' tall and possibly 1 1/2' deep.

No on the carrier...I didn't marry well enough for that. LOL. My personal set of luggage didn't cost that. :rolleyes:

I have an armoire that was my grandmother's. It means the world to me & I used it for my daughter when she was born. It has 6 drawers & a small mirrored opening on one side & a full mirrored door on the other with a place to hang clothes. Since no grandbabies so far.....it's only fitting that my only furbaby Bella uses it!:D I've always wanted to paint it white. It would then be very similiar to this one from PB:

Right now I have sweaters and t's in drawers and coats and leashes in a basket. Most everthing else in hanging in a closet. K Mart has some shelves (3, 4, 6 openings) that you can buy the "boxes" to use in them as drawers. I figure I could take 2 of the cubicles and put rods in them to hang stuff.

I made one from two Closetmaid components. The bottom is a two drawer unit and the top is a two shelf unit. You replace the shelves with PVC piping (or even tension curtain rods). I got the units at Lowes for $35 each. :D

Since these are human sized pieces, they are much larger than the doggie armoires they sell. It holds a ton.

Ohhh, that's a good idea! Its large enough to keep in our garage! Hmmm, right now we have all of Finnigan's clothes/accessories in our laundry room right off the garage so we'd either have to get something smaller to fit in the laundry room or something larger for the garage.

My Tink hasn't got many clothes just yet - I had to wait til she was fully grown! She has 4 coats/outfits at the moment - I had a makeup box given to me at christmas but I had no need for it - so I folded them nicely and they fit on the bottom, her leads/collars etc on the left compartment, her ribbons/grooming accessories on the right compartment, so it does just perfectly! Oh, she has one tiny hanger in which her princess jacket hangs from :) xXx

i just wanted to show you the box i found for Harley's clothes..it doesnt hold everything so i just change the clothes over each season.

Here are another couple of ideas. I keep Lady's sweaters in the pink three drawer cart and some "overflow" clothes on the Petzip hanger. And yes, Lady has her own changing table!

Is that the only color the petzip comes in? I dunno if Finnigan cares, but it'd be silly to have his boy clothes on a pink hanger! :)

My daughter used to collect American Girl Dolls so we still have the armoire here and since we have been shopping my daughter has been hanging them in thier... Of course we only have xxs clothes they fit perfectly her armoire has three little draws in it where we put the bows... its really cute!! American girl dolls are 18 inches tall so the Armoires are pretty big, they sell a similar one in cherry wood at AC Moore which is fairly inexpensive when you use the coupon..

Wow, everyone has nice storage for their babies clothes! I just have Fiona's nice and folded and stacked on top of her crate! She doesn't really have that many clothes, but it works! :thumbup:

AC Moore is a store its like a Michaels or Hobby Lobby! If you would like i could check to see what they run for in my area and i think i have a 50% coupon for them right now i will have to double check but if so i can check and use it for you!

The next time hubby complains that I am making another doggie outfit, I am going to show him this thread. Good to know I am not the only crazy one! Got me thinking though, I should find a better storage solution besides a drawer by the front door.

We bought one of these units tonight, turns out I already have the bottom piece in my office! I can't wait to see how much it holds! The curtain rod we bought to put in it was too big though so we have to get another. I think we may just hang one row across. I still would love an armoire but I need to find one that's a little less prices first!!

I was wondering the same thing. I only have 2 little dresses for my baby (that I dont even have yet) but I keep watching for more, and I was wondering where to store them when I get her....Great ideas!!

Im going to try to make it to AC Moore this afternoon, Ill take a picture of one with an outfit inside if this helps anyone, its really cute because they usually sell the matching bed which is also for an 18 inch doll they would be perfect for someone crafty because the mattress that comes with them is kind of ugly print, I should be going there this afternoon and will take a couple of pictures!!
