So proud...so why did mommy scream???? Today I did what I was bred to do, I caught a live rat but when my mommy saw it she screamed, grabbed me and took me back in the house. What's up with her? I thought she would be so proud of me cuz I've been working on capturing it for two days now and it took alot of digging under that fence to get the prize. Please tell mom to chill out!!! |
Maybe mommie misunderstood. Try going outside and getting another rat, or even better, the same rat out of the garbage. And well done! |

Silly Yorkie, you are only supposed to catch rats if you are over 10 lbs. That is why your mom was so scared. Go bring her in a few mice. Then she will be REALLY proud of you! |

I caught a lizard once, it was a big one! It took me some effort I had to go under the bush to get it, but I did and then I took it to momma she was in the house so I took it to her and she said "eww peanut what do you have" so I dropped it to show her and the lizard got scared and ran under the couch...hehehe momma wasnt really happy about it. My dad thought I was really cool!!! He even gave me a treat, so next time you catch something take it to your Dad!! Dads like that stuff more than mommies :) -Peanut |
I try and try to catch a lizard but mommy says some of them can be poisonous. I love to catch and eat beatles when mommy lets me out at night. She can't catch me outside. HAHA Wish we had rats. Katy Lou |

Well, mommy just went outside to check on my trophy and it's still there but it's not alive any more. Daddy won't be home until tomorrow morning and mommy won't touch my trophy. She put a board over it with lots of rocks on top so I can't play with it. But I'll show her....I've been anxiously sitting at the back door waiting for her to let me back outside so I can check out my prize but mommy won't let me out. Darn her. Next time I'll wait til daddy's home cuz he'll probably be more appreciative than mom. |

I caught Jackson with a dead mouse a few days ago. I think something else had already killed it, it didn't even LOOK like a mouse. It was completely flat like all of the stuffing had came out of it or something, it was gross. I was like "Jackson, what are you chewing?" and I got closer and saw little feet. :eek: Disgusting. |
Yikes! We have never caught anything...yet. We are still after those bunnies in the yard though. Mom told us she used to have a Schnauzer who brought his trophies (dead birds) in the house when she wasn't looking. Once mom stepped out of bed right on top of a big black dead bird with it's wings all spread out. She got pretty upset about it. I don't know what's up with mom's, they just don't appreciate the good things. ~ Teddy Bear |

When mommy lets us outside, we run at break-neck speed hoping to surprise some stray kitties that like to walk in our yard. If we do find one they just hop on top of the fence and tease us.:(:(:( One of these days....... Note from Mommy.....Always try to check for kitties and get them to scoot before the furbabies make their dash. |

Oh, this is my favorite activity!! My daddy is gone overseas and I have had to most fun scaring mommy by catching cool stuff! I started with a bunny. Mommy had to lock me outside cuz I wouldn't let it go. :D She called her friends husband to come over and help. He wasn't even sure what is was when he got there!! :confused: Then, I decided little bunnies were for babies. Now I catch rats! (At least that's what mommy's friends husband says when he comes to get them. :D I wonder what daddy will think when he finally comes home and I bring one in to him!!:wink: I say keep up the good work! I love to make mommy scream...it makes me feel very powerful for my size. And then there's my Aussie sister, she tries to herd me away from my trophy but it's not working. She just doesn't understand that I'm bred to seek out the rats. She doesn't even pay any attention to it...she's no fun either!!!! |
ewww did your mommy brush your teeth afterward? :D My uncle had a dog who would bring in dead things through the doggie door and hide them in his bed (the dog bed). ewwwww |
