New here...new owner
 
Hi everyone:wavey:! I am new here and have recently adopted a Yorkie. We have had her just a few days. I hope to learn a lot about her here. :) We have fallen madly in love with her :hearts33: :)

She still has her tail...she is 4 1/2 months old....first time away from her momma and daddy was this past Sunday when we got her. We decided she needs her tail. :)

Which thread is the best to find all the in's and out's of yorkies? I am looking for basics on personalities....attitudes...in general what to expect. Anyone know?

We ride Triumph motorcycles and they are made at the Hinckley plant. My dh said he has always wanted to name a dog that so we did. :)

Hi and welcome to Yorkietalk. I think the general forum has lots of information on yorkies and their personalities. You've probably heard the expression that Yorkies are a big dog in a small package, and that's really true I think. They seem to have lots of attitude, and remind me of the little kid on the playground who had to act tough so nobody would beat him up. People who have several seem to notice more differences among them, but that may have to do with how they fit in the pack.

Thanks everyone! She is rotten and we only got her a week ago. She has quite the sassy attitude. She thinks she is a much bigger dog. Our 2 other bigger dogs play with her and she is fiesty! They don't scare her at all. :)
