Your update brings tears to my eyes. Truman looks so wonderful and happy. Bless you for saving his life and taking such good care of him. |
Oh my goodness. Truman looks like a completely different boy. I've always had a huge soft spot for Truman and it just keeps getting bigger. He is so HANDSOME - I love his coat and that precious face. Thank you for the update! :) |
He LOOKS amazing!!! You have been wonderful for him! |
Truman you are truly one handsome special boy. I love getting the updates and seeing his smiling face. His smile :D could light up any room on any day. I bet Truman never would have guessed in a million years he would one day live in the lap of luxury. Well Truman you made it, and I hope you live to be the oldest dog in the WORLD. |
what a lovely caring person you are and what a handsome boy Truman is..i love reading his updates..xx |
I can hardly believe this is the sick little, straggly guy you brought home. He is absolutely charming now! Give Truman a hug from me! |
Truman give all of his fan a great BIG puppy kiss :animal36 He is doing so wonderful! He was just at the groomer Friday and she actually had to trim his ears! Remember when I first brought him home his ears were like leather. They were hard, stiff and scaly. Now they both have fully regrown hair. I spoke to my vet about cutting his med back to every other day since his arthritis is so much better now. He does have several areas that the vet called warts that just do not seem to heal. I keep the hair in that area trimmed very short which is hard because he does not like to sit still. If anyone has any suggestions I would love a little advice how to get these areas to heal :( |
Oh Lordy I love how this boy looks...a true Walt Disney dog and he should be in the movies...you have done a fabulous job. :D Hmmm can you post a picture of his ear warts? Not sure if I can help but would like to see what they look like. |

Odd...I have two thoughts but they don't cost much to try. You might try Braggs Organic Vinegar Apple Cider Vinegar for Dogs by Alicia McWatters Pet Care or you might try Bag Balm which was created to heal cow udders that were all cracked etc. You can pick it up at Walgreen's...I use it for my chapped lips and have used it on the dogs many times.. Bag Balm - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia What does the vet say? |

The warts on his ear were removed and he does not have them any longer. He does have a sore on his back hip that the vet said was a wart and non cancerous. I tried to take a picture up I cannot seem to get one that actually shows in detail what it looks like. It was quite the project since the hair matts over the area because it is moist (for lack of a better word). |

Break open a Vitamin E capsule and rub on it. It is suppose to heal it. I tried it on my cockapoo and it made some of her warts smaller. The only problem was she likes to lick it off. |
