| Help Yesterday our 7 month old male yorkie started wanting to hide at the end of our hallway or in the bathroom on the soft rug. We try & get him to come lay on the couch with us or on the blanket on the floor beside us but he seems to prefer to be off by himself. Any ideas of the sudden mood change? We have had him about a month and things have gone fairly well. We do work during the day so he is in the crate for the morning, I got home at lunch & let him out and then someone is usually home by about 3 so he isn't alone ALL day. He doesn't seem to be sick & he just had a 6 month check-up at the vet about 3 weeks ago. Any ideas? |

| It's possible that it is just his personality to prefer to be alone,..... or maybe he isn't feeling well.

| I'm basically posting in order to bump up you question since I don't consider myself an expert of any sort. Guess it would concern me, too. Probably would understand if there were more doggies around that might annoy him and he just wanted his own space. Maybe posting this question in Training or Sick might get some more responses. A lot of the more educated members peruse those sections. Good luck.
