I have a question. I know the answer, it just seems to have slipped my mind lately... :rolleyes:

You know the area on a female dog where her pee pee comes out? What's that called?

it's called her pee pee thingy. lol, i don't know :p will try to look it up if no one else knows!

Unofficially, we call it a nana. Imagine my daughter's surprise when we were at Starbucks last year and a little toddler was calling to his grandmother "Nana, nana". My (then 5-year old) looked and me and very seriously said "He should not be saying that in public". :lol tears

That general area is the "vulva" unless you mean the urethra. But "peepee" sounds better for our little cuties!

That's what we call it...a HOO HOO or STUFF or JUNK or GOODIES and if she's in heat, it's called a STRAWBERRY. ;)

Your girl might be in heat now, hence the constant licking lately? Have you noticed any spotting or has she been spayed? There must be some kind of irritation if she's not in heat and is licking her privates more than usual. :(

This is interesting because Meg just started licking hers, too. She\'s only 14 weeks old, so there is no way she\'s in heat yet, and the area doesn\'t look irritated/red. I think she is just now large/long enough to be able to stretch around and get to it. Before she would try but he couldn\'t get her head past her tummy. Anyone else had this happen to their lil ladies?

Well in our house, the females is called "Pebbles" and the males\' is called "Bam Bam"................. and if she\'s in heat we call it her "Treats" and his is "Wham Bam, Thank you Ma\'am" or "Wham Bam" for short. :p
