if you had questions for yourself than why didnt you just ask in your post instead of jumping right in stating that we were trying to make the OP feel guilty??? and if you werent trying to start a debate... then why the comment.. "let the flaming begin"?? and I dont think that any of these post were judgemental.. she asked a question and she got it answered.. did you all honestly beleive that no one was going to post about the risk of raising puppies??? Several other people have replied.. I hope that you and the OP got your questions answered. |
Yes, I did get my answer and the reason I asked the question again is that the board gets so full of the same question asked over and over again so I was trying to save the repetition. That is why I originally read the thread because I had the same question. No one was really answering the question about keeping a pup from the litter they were only saying not to breed. I understand the risks of breeding and think I have researched it quite well. I managed to make it through a doctoral program so I think I am intelligent enough to weigh the risk of breeding a Yorkshire Terrier and that is not to be taken lightly. I was interested in the psychosocial aspects of keeping a pup from the litter. How the mother reacts and how they socialize as the pup gets older? I just feel like sometimes we go overboard on a person when they ask a question i.e. dog food brands, using the word teacup, breeding, etc... That is why I said let the flaming begin because I know we can't help ourselves sometimes when we believe so strongly about a certain subject; especially when it relates to our Yorkies. We have run some very nice people off the board because of our strong feelings. But others have answered the psychosocial aspects of the question and I thank you. |
