I am Ok with Shirts, Sweaters, coats and bows. Yorkies definitely need it in cold weather. I am on the fence on Accessories like: *Shoes (I am Ok with snow boots. I agree they protect against salt and cuts from ice) *Sunglasses..although they are cute. *Hats *Clip on Earrings...Ouch poor babies. *Coloring Dog's Coats |
oh man I'm guilty too! LOL My dogs have a walk-in closet full of clothes! I think this is rediculous...surely it does mean only IF the clothes caused harm to the dog. |

Sooooooo true! Pampering a dog by dressing them up and coddling them is bad? How about those dogs that are neglected and mistreated. |

Seriously you would think the RSPCA could find a better things to do with their time:rolleyes: |
That article is so stupid.... The first time they actually try and procecute a person for dressing A dog up is going to be a media circus. I highly doubt that it will ever happen. I do not see the connection of dogs being dressed & neglet. That is a new one to me. |

Am I reading this right?? Walking your small dog on a leash shouldn't be allowed? I'm utterly confused.... |

Obviously they don't understand that clothing in some situations is necessary for small dogs. I would never take Tucker outside in 0° weather without a sweater.  and dogs that live in certain places with a lot of snow NEED booties. Else their paws will get messed up. I think it's cute. Yes, there are some who go WAY out of control. But I honestly don't see the harm in putting a dress on a girl or a little t-shirt on a boy. There are WAY more serious problems in the animal world than this, that's all I'm saying. |
Apparently the newsreporter has nothing better to report on, so they needed report on something so trivial. I'm guilty of dressing Cassi in clothes and she loves it. |
<small voice> I'm thinking about dyeing pink Thor for Valentine's Day. I've heard groomers can do a harmless vegetable dye. Thor is very silver, so I think he'd show the color very well. Yes, it's silly, but if it doesn't bother him, what's the harm? I believe in treating dogs like dogs, and I make sure Thor gets good food, time outside, exercise, baths, and mental stimulation. I don't think adornment should be an issue, as long as it does not hinder the dog. |
