When I got Missy I bought an X-Pen. Inside that I put her crate (door removed), food, water, and pee pads. It has worked remarkably well. |
I agree....XPens are the Best...... |
I have an x-pen for my Chanel and at first noticed she wouldn't go poo in it. Then I rearranged the proximity of her food/water bowls and she has no problems in there. Its when she's out and about she goes whereever she's standing. She pees on the pads I have around some of the times and today was the first time she pooed on the pad as well. Good luck. Chanel's been home for a week and the progress is sporadic but positive reinforcement and treats are helping. She sees how happy I get when she goes on the pad. And when she pees on the floor we tell her no. Its very rewarding when they finally get it (even for the one time) |
Check it out! I have never seen it at any stores... I bought mine online at INDOOR DOG POTTY for: dog house training, housebreaking puppies, dog and puppy training or you can find them on ebay also! no, it's nothing you spray on...Wizdog is a new revolutionary house training system for dogs. Consisting of a durable plastic pan and fitted grate, liquid waste dispenses through the grate onto newspaper or a pee pad, separated from your dog's paws - No more wet paw tracks throughout your house! Solid waste stays on top of the grate, so you never have to touch it. The newspaper is under the grate so your dog cannot get the paper and chew it up! Check out the website for more info...this is a really great product, I'm glad I found it!! Quote:
