i have this one from petsmart and i really like it because it doesnt slide all over the place everytime he moves. It has a nice ring that follows him rather then the whole harness. It is adjustable and it has great customer reviews. Also i like it because if there were ever a dog wanting to attack him I could pick him up by it and he wouldn't be hurt or uncomfortable, I always joke that I could go rock climbing with him in this harness :) here's the link. Yap Wrap We use the Yap Wrap they come in sizes teacup to Med. They are only found on QVC.com These are great we have teacup xsmall and Med for my Bichon and all sizes work great they have Industrial duty velcro and d ring and you call also pull the babies up by the carring strap and doesn't hurt them in anyway. or you could even yank them up by the leash. in case danger is in their way. the creater of this product also owns yorkies and would be scarred that while walking them that a bigger dog could injure them. they run about 25.oo and various colors and are also reversible. |
Chip is about the size of your baby and I use these harnesses on him. i don't know how old she is, but i think getting an adjustable one is probably best if she is still growing. that way you don't have to keep on getting new ones. |
Ranger is 11 pounds now (10 months) and I've been looking for a harness for him too. My little ones have the Gooby harness...which I like alot when they are on, however, Scout absolutely hates taking it off. He throws a big fit when its time to slip it off over his head. There's alot of good ideas here! |
we use the harnesses from chattiesmom! love them! :) |
My Yorkie isn't big, but I have to put my vote in for chattiesmom's harnesses. They are awesome! |
My baby is 9.6 lbs and after much trial and error I've settled on the puppia. It puts no pressure on her neck and doesn't mat her hair. Chattiesmom's are very cute. I'll definitely be ordering soon. |
