Our son confided in his sister (who told us) that he thinks "Dad should be committed." they've both already let us know that they're not entirely happy that we display so many more pictures of our girls than we ever had of them. I explain that it's all digital now, and so easy to take bunches of pictures, and when they continue to object, I just have to tell them that the dogs are cuter.

Anyway, I created a web site for the girls, and this caused our son to think I was nuts. Does Dad have nothing better to do with his time? (Actually, no.) Check it out and let me know what you think.

Thats ok. Mine think that about me also ever since I got involved with the greyhounds. I also have a website.

Enjoy you time with them. My kids have gotten over it. :D

I keep telling them it's my turn. :thumbup:

LoL this made me giggle. My parents have been waiting for me to have a baby for 13 years ....and I bring home a Yorkie instead LoL My parents have always said I was crazy ever since i was a little girl. It use to be my nickname in Italian. So tell your kids....they may get a deal on your room if you have a roommate LoL

Btw..i loved your website...i just wish i was computer literate to make one myself...cause i would!! :D

Tell your kids to knock it off before u put them out and get 2 more yorkies! LOL!!! I don't have any children so my Bryan is the child I never had... Some of my family think I'm crazy also... I was just telling my boyfriend that I'm thinking about throwing him a Birthday party for his first Birthday LOL! I love my baby he wears whatever I put on himn he eats what ever I feed him..no college tuition, he doesn't talk back and he gives the best kisses! But most of all he's always sooooo excited to see me when I come home from work and when I talk him out everyone just cooos about cute he is...what could be better! ENJOY you fur babies they will never disappoint you ever

The site is cute!

Tell your kids that, in thinking it over, you realize they are right...and so now you will be making a similar website for them that you can share with their friends, and with all the world! I bet they'll love the idea! ;)

LOL so cute!! I always told my dtr when she complained of all the pics I had of the dogs that they were much cuter and didn't talk back!!! Of course she knew I was kidding, or was I!!!

They are both beautiful. My kids complain all the time (and they're grown!!) because I pay too much attention to the "girls". Oh well, get over it! That's what I tell them. :D

Our kids all think we are nuts. We don't have a website or mega pictures, but they certainly think we love Sophie more than them. Wellllllll.......Did they lick our faces and give us unconditional love when they were growing up?:D And did they wag their whole back-ends when we came home?:)

Well I don't have any kids, but my family, friends & co-workers all think that there's something wrong with me for how much I do & buy for my lil' man. My father-in-law is actually offended by the fact that I have more pictures up around the house of Deegan and my previous dog, rather than him and the family. I don't care though...

Yorkies vs. Kids
 
Since Bella came into our family last year. I tell my kids ages 29, 27 and 18. If I had known how sweet and full of personality yorkies were I would have raised Yorkies instead of kids. I can say this having gone through the teenage years 4 times (also raised my husbands daughter through the teen years). And they just laugh, they don't know I think I am serious. LOL:shocked7q:blush:

Well, if you are nuts..... what would you call the rest of us on YorkieTalk? I mean it appears that you joined in Sept. 2006 and have only posted 6 times.... gee I don't think you are as nuts as many of us. But, keep working at it, haha.

Your girls are beautiful. Nice webpage, and as a fellow Mac user I'm wondering what program you used to make it.

Thanks for the reinforcement! I knew I wasn't nuts. (Or at least the only one :-)

For those of you watching the web site, there is a new comic in the works. It'll be a few weeks before it rolls off; even though I have too much time on my hands, it's not all creative time.

The title will be "Miss Daisy and Savannah Visit Hollywood". I've got most of the pictures ready, some more shots of things like cell phones and one major posed shot should wrap things up.

I'll post a note when I get it done.

MauiGirl: You discovered my other passion. I'm a Mac nut. Have been since 1986, when I watched my father doing stuff on his 512K Mac that was years ahead of what I was able to do on my (at the time) PC.

The http://missdaisyandsavannah.com web site is built in iWeb, Apple's easy-to-use template-based site creator. I use other programs for other web sites, but this one turns out the best looking sites (IMHO).

It's what yorkies do to all of us! I never thought I would be as crazy about my pets as I am about my yorkies! I LOVE your website....very clever and funny...

Thanks for sharing that. My first Mac was 1989, a Mac SE, which got me hooked (after stuggling with an IBM PC). We have several Macs in our family, which I manage to keep running. I've had a great time with all the other iLife apps, and will have to try iWeb inbetween playing with my 2 furbabies.

My daughter keeps reminding me that I have not yet put granddaughter's 2nd birthday on DVD (and she is now 4).... yet I'm always making slideshows and movies of the furbabies. Whoa.... jealousy here. Not everybody understands how these fur kids take over our lives.:rolleyes:

I have not checked out your website yet, but if your grown kids are thinking your nuts for loving your Yorkies so much then they need to get one for themselves. Yorkies are beautiful, and the best dogs anyone can have! They have a little envy going on , and need to get over it. So what if it is a passion of yours? That has nothing to do with them, right? They ned to respect the fact that your a Yorkie Lover, and be done with it, LOL . ;)
