Registered mean that he will have a registration certificate from the Canadian Kennel Club .
Here in Canada , its against the law to pass a Yorkie as purebred if he or she is not registered .
Your so-called breeder could be in trouble if she let someone know she is selling purebred Yorkies without papers . Registration certificate is always free. If she ask a price for unregistered and another price for registered , she is illegal .

the lady isn't a breeder...she just has a female and male yorkie.,.and well...you know...he was also the only puppy in the litter

No matter if a person have one litter or a thousand . The minute there is a puppy , the person is a breeder .

I would never pay 800 for a dog with no papers. That is a very high price!! The vet cant tell you it is a purebred either. I would contact a reputable breeder and get a registered Yorkie that comes with a health guarantee.

I am a breeder and white on one or more paws is not at all unusual. In fact most of mine do have a white toe or two. it eventually turns into a beautiful gold color. Also, I would nevr in a million years pay 800 dollars for a dog with no papers. As far as the dad being almost all dark, look at my avatar at the picture of my champion jewel. beautiful dark gal!!!!!!

and her breeders told her that her dogs were purebred..but they really do look exactly like yorkies..exept the dad's colour...loads of black

She didn't make the dogs breed for money...and around here it's hard to find a breeder for yorkies that isn't a puppy mill..we don't want a mother to son bred puppy

yorkie pups are very black! and just like the other lady said,bailees toes that are white are turtig tan/gold...please do sum research and find a reputable breeder and also learn about this breed a lil more,please

the dad has little tan even less than jewel...his tan Is also very pale...almost grey looking

If there is no pedigree how do you know that they arent related or mill/byb dogs? You only have the "word" of that woman who is after your 800. She will say anything as long as she has that 800. She is playing on your heart-strings. You just cant be too trusting now-days.Please wait and buy from a reputable breeder.

ok everyone has tried to be helpful but you arent taking the advice anyone is giving you. It is very good advice,if you do not care for it,you should not have posted...just my opnion.
