I'm so sorry for your loss... I lost a dear friend about 5 years ago suddenly, and I still weep over her at times. My heart pangs every time I think of her, and it's almost daily still. It makes me mad when people say, get over it... Another friend lost her 16 year old daughter almost two years ago, and within 6 months people were telling her that.... oh my goodness...the insensitivity. The pain WILL soften in time, though you will always miss him and be sad. I'll be praying for you sweetie.. deb |
I wouldn't want to "get over" the loss of a friend. That seems too callous and not a fitting way to celebrate his friendship and his life. I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure in time you will be able to remember the happier times though. And please don't "lurk" just because you don't own a Yorkie yet. Your comments and contributions are always welcome here. :) |
Thanks again for all your prayers... I was doing a whole lot better until last night, when I had a dream that the CPR worked and he just got up and was fine. It was real enough that I almost believed that that was the outcome. The funeral is on Friday or Saturday, we're still waiting to hear from the family. I do think that is going to be difficult as there will be a lot of questions about his final moments. I was the first one to get to him and the last one to leave his side, so I'm sure a lot of those questions will be focused towards me. I wish I had answers that would make the family feel better... Thanks again for all the support.. it helps, it really truly does... I appreciate it. |
Wow, what a traumatic time your having! And I can't believe that your parents aren't being more sympathetic to the situation. But know that you did all that you could... it's not your fault! I feel for you and am thinking of you. I hope that you can grieve and move on in time. My mom passed away in 2007, and before she died she always reminded me that "Life is for the living", don't dwell on the dead - remember & honour them, but don't dwell on them. Good luck & hope to hear from you soon with good news. |

Sending lots of prayers your way. Remember, God doesn't give you what you can handle, He helps you handle what you are given.... I have a 5 yr old son that has been battling cancer for 2 yrs now - I promise there is light at the end of the tunnel. Keep your head up and reach out to someone you can trust, even if it is here on YT. ~Shelly |
Just would like to give you a hug. |
