thanks so much for caring & u guys r right this is really hard for us. i didnt know having a puppy was such hard work. if i ever get a puppy again i will make sure it is at least 6 months. i dont know why they let these puppies go so small but now keep prince healthy is my main priority, thanks again xoxo | I am really glad he's seeming ok this morning. However, the information your breeder gave you was incredibly ignorant. Just because he could walk, does not guarantee he was going to "be ok." They can be walking around like normal and go into cardiac arrest, fall into a coma, etc. I am very glad that you are taking him into the vet this morning. I would urge you to ask if they can schedule a bit of extra time, so you can have a long discussion with your vet about caring for a tiny, very young puppy. I would then encourage you to go home and type it all up and put it somewhere you wont forget, as well as make sure you have all the necessary supplies on hand, so if another episode comes up, you can be prepared.
