Tomorrow is the big day
 

She's having her surgery tomorrow morning :( I'm really nervous and scared and already have butterflies. I've been praying in my head all day so please say some prayers for her to come through ok.

i'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers. she'll be fine, these little doggies are tougher than we are!

I know, I'm just scared for her. I just hope she is strong enough. Thanks Megan :)

I was the same way - good luck and it will really help to be on here - It really is a long day for US and hopefully not for them - Cheri just had hers and I felt so sick and was crying leaving her - but she came thru just perfect and no after effects - it really IS a very common surgery and I think WE are the worst patients.....She'll be just fine - We'll be praying for her tommorrow and you try to relax...go ahead and start 15 more threads !! :D

I am thinking of you and Coco today sending you both hugs and prayers. Her surgery will be a great success tomorrow and will be done before you know it the Dr. will be calling you telling you she is resting and ready to be picked up. ;)

Thanks Jennette. I missed you guys last night :( But I hope you had a fun time with your family. We went to the doggie park and Coco marked everything at the park. :eek:

Oh, I understand how you feel, vainchick. Trace goes next Thursday for his....I get sick just thinking about it. My hubby does too, but not for the same reasons I do, I think :eek:

Prayers for Coco. She probably won't even understand the fuss :rolleyes:

I bet Coco is going to get so spoiled by the vet that she won't be worrid at all. They will all be kissing her and holding her.

I just talked to the lady and she said, "Oh she'll be fine, don't worry. Your only problem will be prying her from our hands. We won't want to give her back. We love the little spunky ones here."

Thanks everyone. I have to drop her off at 7am :( I'm already starting to get really frantic..I know it's a normal procedure but until they call me and say she's good and I pick her up in my arms, I will be frantic.

I will be thinking about you and Coco, just try to relax :) Rocky, Maya, and Haley send you and Coco kisses!

Coco will do great. Remember Mini, also 2 pounds 5 ounces sailed through like a champ. A couple of hours after the surgery she was standing up in her kennel. She was sleep when I picked her up but she never even made a sign that she was in pain. She was playing the next day and was spunky by the next day. She was a really tough girl. I just had to watch her to make sure she didn't lick her stitches. She is pretty rough chewing her toys, I wanted to watch her closely to make sure she wasn't interested in the stitches. She only a couple of times tried to lick them but I told her "no, no" and she stopped. I think she was only doing the normal licking, not really after the stitches. She healed up so great. Wish you could see her now, she just flew by me going 90 to nothing. She is eating a little dish of crushed ice. She loves it. She amazes me what fascinates her.

This time tomorrow you will just be holding and loving your little girl. She will be groggy but Mini was walking around and she'd tee tee just fine on her pads. Yes, I was a nervous wreck, but I was worse off than she. She was fine.

All that said, I'll keep you both in my prayers. I'll pray for calming for you. Mini sends her love......

I can imagine you will have a hard time sleeping tonight thinking about waking early for her to go~

She will be fine...You have a ton of well wishes and support from us~ :)

Many have been through this..and many will be doing it right behind you....(Like Sophie will be having that done in a few months~) ;)

We will be waiting to hear about her ...talk to us some tomorrow and let us know how she is...hugs to you and Coco.... :) :aimeeyork
