Mine go out without booties to do their business in the backyard......I have some fleece ones but they come off so I no longer bother.......they play around in the snow which doesn't seem to bother them like the booties do....then I dry them off when they come in...... |
i have heard wonderful things about Epiks dog shoes EPIKS.net Most dog shoes focus on safety or style, which both contribute to the general comfort for a dog. Epiks unique design offer safety and style while providing maximum comfort. Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) sole is Skid-free, flexible, insulates against cold and surfaces, and is the same material used in high-end running and basketball shoes. Because of the reliable heavy-duty zipper and elastic stitching EPIKS will stay on tight-even while running. Lightweight features make it 30% lighter than shoes of the competition so it won’t weigh down the dog’s step or alter musculature. Distinctive design gives it a look unlike any other dog shoe with many of the same advanced features of an athletic shoe.Handsome microsuede upper portion resists the elements and comes in a variety of attractive colors combinations. Built with the technology of a human shoe but made just for dogs. Unlike other dog shoes EPIKS utilized the differences in the shapes and angles of a dog’s front and hind legs to create separate designs for both sets of paws. EPIKS patented sole and angle will roll the dog’s paw resulting in a more comfortable and balanced stride. The secret to EPIKS lighter than air stride is the special Memory Foam insole combined with the TPR sole to reduce the load on a dog’s legs and energize with each step. |
Dog Boots Another thing to consider is the salt that is put on the sidewalks is not always healthy for dogs. Thus wearing boots/shoes, etc will prevent them from bring it inside and either staying on their skin or having them lick it off and eat it.. |
I would love for Keoki to wear them because we live in NYC but he WILL NOT wear them- He hates them!!! |
