BTW, dont blame yourself! Accidents happen! I'm sure BabyTheo will forgive you. |
I'm sorry this happened to your pup. I would suggest you not take the dog onto the bed with you (for how small most yorkies are, beds are very high - like a human jumping off a roof) and it's easy for them to injure themselves because they have no sense of their own size as far as I've seen. Good luck, and I hope he recovers well! |
I am so sorry! I hope he recovers fast!!! |
This is a small hijack but the broken legs reminded me of something....y'all are going to FLIP when you hear this. A woman who used to work for me came in one day & said that her neighbor (a 70's something guy)tripped & fell on his daughter's yorkie & broke both of her front legs (she said he was probably tipsy). Anyway, I don't know to what extent the damage was but it was going to cost $5K to fix this pup. This person who worked for me said that was too much & that they should just put the dog to sleep. I knew she was an ice queen but I didn't know how cold she really was from that day on I had no respect for her & was delighted when she quit. |
