| My Yorkie's tail stays up Hello everyone ! my female yorkie's tail stick straight up, my neighbor have a female yorkie, she brought it to my attention. I am thinking it could be because when i got her the tail was not clip. i was told it should be done the first couple weeks. should they carry their tail down? i have a picture of it when i figure out how to post it i will, having trouble doing it at this time. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | In it's natural state...a yorkie's full tail is carried up over their backs...in a semi-circular position. So a docked tail usually stands up. Ramsey and Reese's tails always stand up...unless they are frightened or in trouble. Since Reggie is a biewer....he has full tail.

| Toto's tail was down for a few minutes yesterday and I knew something was wrong, he was hungry or worried. He's the older one who is blind and deaf. My younger one is still a bit of a terror around the house, but I think it's because he feels intimidated by my lab and golden. I don't know what to do. I really don't want to give anyone up! Callie Toto, Chester, Maggie, Lucy, Elle, Darden, Reggie, and Annie, and let's not forget the Rainbow Bridge kids, Buddy, Mikki and Harley. |
