OH WOW! Im sooo glad you got her back! Some people have absolutely no morals or ethics at all. They think they can just take whatever they want. Its ridiculous! |

I am pretty certain that they nabbed her, because i cold see them in their patio window. If I could see them, they could see me, standing there, with her harness and leash :( If their child did not become frightend, i do not think they would have let her out. YES, even my neighbor said for me to call the police. My God, I was so scared and stunned . KNowing she was in there, and those people would not give her back. WTF? I know People always want her when they see her. A cute, small, Yorkie, it is scary how fast she can be gone , taken, and my heart being ripped out of my chest. Yes, thankfully, The girls were there , and assisted me. I would not have been able to get her by myself, with the surgery I just had on Thur. The most heartbreaking of it all is that i knew she was in there, and they were not letting her out. :mad: The kids lived up the stairs from those people and did not want to knock open the door. Luckily everything turned out well, and my Suzi was just shooked up by the ordeal. |

I am so happy to hear there is a happy ending to this. Everyone should microchip their dogs and carry a cell phone--I would have called 911. |

I'm glad you got your baby back. Omg I know the feeling, Lexi got out of the yard once and I was completely frantic. I couldn't find her anywhere. I was so worried someone would have picked up my 5 month old baby... And someone did. I asked a gentleman if he say her, and he said yes and pointed to a house across the street. Luckily the woman also had yorkies so she snatched her up and took her inside. She must have heard me yelling because she came out. Oh my gosh - I felt so sick. That helpless feeling of them being gone with nothing you can do. I do hope that it is a misunderstanding and these people didn't try to steal your dog. But you never know in this world. There are some real creeps that only consider themselves. Someone told me once that putting a name on the collar is a bad thing because people are more likely to become attached to the pet if it is wearing a nametag. Although I don't know if that is actually true or now. Anyways, so glad to hear that you got her back! |
I would definitely get her microchipped! It's a small price to pay to be able to identify your baby! Also I would put only your phone number on a tag and NOT the dog's name. Don't let nabbers know the name so they can't call her to them! Thank God you got your baby back! |

I'm so glad you have her back :) that has happend to me too. I used to live in the Bronx and I was young when I recieved cutie as a puppy. She ran away and was picked up from someone in one of the buildings! . they had her for about 20 minutes and already had dog food and bowls for her!!! |
