i want to talk about happy things! can we talk about happy things please?
 
hi, i read a couple of posts lately that were not very happy. it's either sad or people getting angry about something.

it's really strange, if i get involved in those threads, then i end up not feeling very happy. because of either the sad topic involved, or because of the tension in the thread.

i just want to talk about something happier. so that i don't have to feel bad and discouraged about things said in this forum.

Lets talk about how cute yorkie puppies are....i know we can all agree to that!!

I think they are the cutest puppies in the entire world!

I will be HAPPY with you! What did your furbutt do today to make you smile? Mine took me for a LONG walk even though it was 20 degrees outside, and could have kept right on going! They really enjoyed it!

i know what you mean- when i see those i try to go out of my way to find posts with 0 responses or try and just keep to the "pictures" sections because i know it makes me happy when people post about Layla's pictures so i try and do the same!

yes, milu is my first dog EVER!!! and before getting milu, i have never seen many yorkies. i remember one time i saw someone walking his yorkies. i parked my car, and asked if i could walk with him and his yorkies. he siad ok, and i asked him SO MANY questions about his yorkies!!!

i wake up everyday, still amazed that i have such a cute doggie in my bed, and i still can't believe how cute they look!!!!

awww... that is so cute, and REALLY REALLY COLD!!!! i don't even know what 20 degrees feels like!?

but i LOVE IT too when i take my baby for a walk, it just makes me smile evreytime i walk her, seeing her little legs move so fast! it's way cute!

I've heard that people resemble their dogs, maybe after some time, or maybe people select breeds that look like themselves.

I tried to explain to my son what getting a dog spayed meant. I guess I went wrong somewhere because when we took her back to get the stiches taken out he told the vet "Oh good, she can have puppies now." Guess he didn't get the point. :p

Or at least a poodle and a yorkie? My chi is my moms... I take care of him and love him but he loves her so and legally he is hers... the other three are mine, mine, mine!!! :D

you are so nice. :thumbup: (for searching for 0 response posts and replying to it) (so does that mean if no one wants to respond to my posts i can notify you and get at least one response? :p do we have a deal? lol :p)

i love the picture section too, my ONLY complaint about that section is i wish the pictures could be bigger. i always have to click on the individual pictures and wait for it to pop up in a size that's reasonable) do you do that too? or is there a trick? or do others just have better eyes than i do?

i thought about calling milu 'Ricola' when i got her, because i thought it would be funny when i take her out to a dog park or something and call out "Ricola~" (like the commercial for the cough drop ;) ) but i don't want to make milu self-conscious because i am sure people will always laugh or give wired looks if i told them her name is Ricola! :D

I'm obsessed with Hello Kitty (all my college notebooks/binders have hello kitty) and Pride and Prejudice---so kitty seems like a good name.
My mom says that yorkies remind her of cats---and she doesn't like cats, but she likes Izze and yorkies. Do you think this is true?

Well, this should be worth at least one laugh -- I kept finding little bits of paper on the floor :idontknow where they were coming from. Of course MY babies would NEVER EVER :Puppy2: get into the garbage, or do anything such as that. Yeah Right.

Well, I keep my mailing evelopes and boxes under my computer desk. Guess what the sweet darling little Yorkie Terrors did..... they took the envelopes (at least 10 of them) and pulled the protective tape off of the adhesive strip. I wondered where those little chewed up pieces of paper were coming from. When I started packaging up YY's this afternoon, I found the answer.

If you ever want to entertain your Yorkies, purchase a case of mailing envelopes and let them remove the paper tapes off the adhesive strips. The case should keep them entertained for atleast 30 minutes or so!

i was obsessed with hello kitty before, but i finally grew out it. i had hello kitty EVERYTHING at one point. lol

Yes, i agree with your mom that yorkies TOTALLY reminds me of cats. i always say that milu acts more like a cat then she does a dog. and i buy her lots of cat toys. she plays with those, but she doesn't play with dog toys... what a weirdo!?

lol. well, are there ways you can make them work for you, like start a business of pealing something off of something for people? LOL do they do a good job of peeling it off? or do they shred the whole thing as well in the process. lol

They did an excellent job - the problem is the hair in the sticky stuff - I wonder if I could teach them to lick stamps????? No wait, stamps are sticky backed too --- Oh Well!

really? you must have magic powers! i love cats, but everytime i say hello to a stray cat, they RUN away from me!!!!

or are you talking about cats that people own? if that's what you are referring to, then i think it's because everytime people see them they will say "kitty kitty" lol :D

I guess mostly other peoples cats...but i have, had a few strays to come...and then quickly run away...Yeah that makes sense...its silly but ive always wondered that!:embarasse

hehehe. Izze behaves like a cat...she only likes little toys---i've never tried cat toys...but overall, she's not really interested. She mostly likes to lounge around and do her own thing.
she's a clutz though. She falls off the couch arm rest a lot...and she doesn't fall on her feet...not very catlike.

i once saw a stray cat that was not afraid of people. so i went up to it and wanted to pet it, but a lady there told me it's not a good idea because it's a stray, so i said "why is it not a good idea?" as i reached out to pet the cat. and the cat try to attack my hand! (didn't get it because i have way fast reflex time ;) no just kidding, i have really slow reflex time, so i was just lucky i guess)

but it was a cute cat. it was just relaxed and stretched out in the middle of people's pathway LOL!

My Ollie loves cat toys. And he attacks them just like the cats do. :p

I'm so paranoid about Ollie falling off the couch. But since he knocked down the baby gate and I found him chilling on the couch the other afternoon when I got home from work, I'm guessing he's not nearly as fragile as I think he is...
