No Good girl Sit Stay Down Wanna treat? Wanna go? Mommys home Daddys home Where's the puppy? Where's Bear? (My neighbor's malt:p) Where's Tiggy? (One of my cats) Where's Chipdip? (My other cat) Time to go to bed. (Gets into bed with us) Let's go to sleep. (Go to sleep in the crate) Mommy/Daddy has to go to work. (knows we're leaving and has to stay home) Where's your ball? Where's your flossie? Do you wanna go potty/pee? Get em! What is it? |
Sapphire knows a lot of basic comands, want a treat?, want to see? (I pick her up to look outside), let's go (she gets ready for her leash), lets go see ___ (she goes to that person), what do you want to wear? (she goes to her little closet area), and want a cracker? (she gets ready for a Ritz cracker). |
Walker know basic commands Daddy's home, I hear Jager (the dog next door) his tail wags his body:rolleyes: not the shoes!, He takes whichever shoe is in dragging and runs for the crate:) and my favorite Belly up, out to the kitchen he runs for dinner |
They both know... "Dance" "Sit" "Down" "Outside?" (their favorite) "River?" (their other favorite) "Walk" (another favorite) "Where's daddy/mommy?" "Bed time" "Wanna go to Naomi's?" "In" (They run in their crate) "Upstairs" and then that's followed by "In the room" "Give mommy kisses!" "Bath time!" "I love you" Then Chip knows "Shake" "Up" And Smokey knows nothing else lol |
Treats! Walkies! Bye-bye! Wanna go outside? Daddy is home! Quiet! In! I'm gonna get you! Wanna go nite-nite? |
Baxter Drop it! Go Potty Give it to Mama (put it in my hand) Sit Down Stay Roll over No Get in your kennel Bad Puppy Daddy's home Wake Dad/Get Dad (jumps in bed and licks face) Bye Bye Treat Puppy Chicken (chicken strips) The cutest thing is that he can sense when Cooper is about to get in trouble. When I go to the door to let them out, Baxter will jump up and bark at the side of Cooper's face, like he is reminding him to sit and wait for me to say it is ok to run out. He will also "herd" him back inside the door for a do-over when he gets it wrong! Cooper Sit Drop It Go Potty Give Mama kisses (licks tip of nose) Down No Night Night with Mommy (runs and gets in bed) Get in your kennel Bad Puppy Daddy's home/where's dad Bye Bye, walk Treat, puppy chicken Where is Baby Cooper? (I cover my eyes and he barks) Darcy Sit (1/2 the time) Treat/Puppy Chicken Go Potty Night Night (comes to the bedroom and gets in her bed) |
Mayzie knows basics sit, stay, up etc. Mo just doesn't get it. Phrases for both would be: "wanna go bye-bye" "outside" (now for Mo while he is out he looks at you and you have to say "go potty" and then when he is done you have to say "ya all done" otherwise he will stand there and look at you) "wanna a cookie" "shush, no bark" "it's bedtime" "what's that???" "who did that?" or "did you do that???" "want in your stroller?" "go get a toy" "let's go get the kids or schoolbus" "whose here?" "mommy's home" "go lay down" Mo knows to "whisper" (soooo funny!) I'm sure there are more, I just can't think of any right now. Gotta get to bed. |
These are the non-command sayings that he responds to: :D "Vamos a casa mama" (Lets go to grandma's house)- He immediately runs to the door where his leash is. "Vamos a dejar a Magaly" (Lets go drop off Magaly (my aunt))- He immediately runs to the door and jumps on the sofa. (He knows that we don't put a leash on him when we go drop of my aunt) "Dino vamo comer" (Let's go eat) He runs to the kitchen and sits (always on the same tile) waiting for me to put his food down. "Dino..shower time" He will immediately run and hide under the bed LOL. |
They both know the common ones but our most useful ones are "out of the kitchen" and "on your mat" for the kitchen one the know and will back all the way out till their on the carpet. My favorite one however is "papi is home" they get so excited. |
In addition to the basic commands such as sit stay, down, wait, etc. and they know: Is that Daddy?, let's go see Daddy (at office), Mommy's garage, Daddy's garage, sunroom, front door (which entrance we will be going out for walk, Do your stuff (pottying), nite-nite - jump up on couch and suggle and go to sleep, leave it, drop it, where's the birdie-in the spring we have sandpipers running throughout the neighborhood and Hot Rod goes nuts over them. (Maggie hasn't seem them yet) where's auntie ______ Kelly, Ruby?, where's Kenzie (jack russell), where's Kaliegh (mutt)-they go towards their houses, take off your harness (take any harness', jackets, sweaters, life jackets off), sit on your blankie (they sit/lay on a blanket while we eat dinner in the kitchen) Are you hungry? Do you want to eat? Wipe your butt (after potty) they stand and hold their butt out, Wipe your feet - coming in from wet grass/rain, "Head" - so I can pull their hair up, Do you want to go out? Mommy kisses, Daddy kisses, Hot Rod kisses/Maggie kisses - they will turn head so I can kiss them on the cheek, Where's froggie- Hot Rod's favorite toy-he can find it where it is! Where's _____ boo-boo, baa-baa, kitty, monkey (names of toy)- they know a few of them, belly rub, Hot Rod seems to know when I say "I love you" - he gives me a single kiss and then snuggles. |
