Where do you bath your Yorkie of course? I bathe Gus in the kitchen sink. It is so convenient, and makes it an almost pleasant experience. I sing to Gus to keep him calm. I have to wait until my DW goes out, and hope she doesn't return and catch us in the act. It adds to the pleasure, i.e., seeing if we can get away with it. If we ever get caught, I'll either be her DH (Dead Husband), or wish I was. |
I've tried the sink but Max got cold, even though was summer, I like the bathtub much better, he is confined, and all the mess stays there, I can also close the door to avoid the draft . |
I used to bathe Bobby in the kitchen sink. He is too big now. We use the bathtub. He tries to act like he doesnt like it but once the warm water hits him I think he loves it :) |
Canyon was bathed in the sink until he got bigger, now at 5 plus pounds, he gets a bath in the tub and he's really good about it. |
Kitchen sink!! So much easier on the back! |
I use to use the kitchen sink because it is so much easier on my back but I find that Mayzie does much better in the tub. She is always reaching for something in the sink whereas in the tub she has no choice but to stand there. I can do it a lot quicker too which makes it a breeze--wow, did I just say that??? |
In the kitchen sink. Every sunday morning. I made a grooming arm that attaches to my counter top, which makes it so easy to do. I do all 6 every Sunday. It takes me about 3 hours. It's my favorite time of the week. |
I bathe my Jack in the kitchen sink. We have deep sinks so it works perfectly. I use they sprayer to get underneath, and he doesn't seem to mind it at all!:) |

I use to use the kitchen sink, but they get too cold. So into the tub we ALL go :D I put shorts and a tee on and get in the tub with them. My shower head is a wand and I close the shower doors and the bathroom doors so it stays nice and toasty in there ~ No more shivering ;) |
I have the perfect sink to shower Dino but I think my mother would kill me if she every found out. HAHA. As of now, once a week (normally Friday's) I take Dino into the shower with me. We have a glass shower with the detachable hose. I completely shower then I bring him in and sit on the floor and bathe him. I blow dry him a little bit and then watch him run around like a maniac for 20 minutes! hehe... |
Well...this may be too much information but I just throw Ralphie in the shower with me. I got sick of fighting him when I would try and bathe him in the kitchen sink so I just got creative  I have a walk in shower and it makes it MUCH easier on us both. |
I use the bathroom sink. Our kitchen is huge so it's harder to keep her warm, but our bathroom is pretty small so when I close the door it stays nice and toasty for Lola.:) |
The tub, but I have to be sure to slide the door closed. He can definitely make the jump out of the tub now! |
I wash all three of mine in the sink but Coral barely fits so if she gets any bigger I'm going to have to wash her in the tub. |
I use the kitchen sink because its easier on my back. What I also do is cover my counters with wee wee pads and do all my grooming on the counter. it becomes a salon for them. my husband however likes to jump in the tub with all of them and act's like its a swimming pool. Water, hair and suds all over the place for mommy to cleaning while they dry themselves on every surface. |
I bathe Poppy in the bath tub:aimeeyork:aimeeyork:aimeeyork |
I bath them all in the bath our sink is too small,Jamie hates to bath and when he sees me bathing he hides because I usually do him next.I tell him "I'm going to bath the baby, that baby right there" and he runs and hides under the pillow on the bed -He thinks that I will never find him there. |
1 Attachment(s) Kitchen sink. And then they are dried, trimmed, and groomed on a box I keep in my living room. They are all used to it and know the treats will be flowing as soon as momma is done. : ) Here is a pic of my grooming box. LOL |
I bathe mine in the kitchen sink |
I do both. The kitchen sink is easier but messier. The tub is hard on the back-but definately able to contain the suds better. Lizzie is a jumper ;). |

Teddi takes a shower with me every Saturday morning (or Friday morning if we don't have timme on Sat). Then I put her wrapped in a towel in the bathroom sink. She snuggles down and I blow dry one side of her and then I flip her over and blow dry the other side. I love how fluffy she is after her bath and she always smells so good! |
Maxi gets his baths in the kitchen sink. My sink is very deep so it is perfect. |

I wash my dogs in the bathtub. I would love to wash my dog in the kitchen sink, but my family thinks that not sanitary. I like the nozzle at the sink that allows me to use the sprayer to wash my dog. I cannot find a sprayer that fits my bathtub. |
Cutie fits in my sink and its so much easier for me because it takes all about 7 minutes and drying takes about 2 ! lol but when it comes to Max my sheltie...he is bigger and almost the size of the sink but he takes so long that I still bathe him in the sink because of the time that it takes.. if that makes sense? |
My Brutis is a squirmer so we use the bath tub. He gets away some times and jumping from the kitchen sink would be bad!! |
