Awesome! I always thought everyone had a routine of cleaning their doggie every.single.night before bed which (as you can imagine) is such a pain in the neck to do! |
I live in the city too and the streets are sooo dirty here, its gross. They are trained to go on the peepee pads but when i do take them out, what i do is wipe their feet with baby wipes cause mine sleep with me too. |
When I first got Maximus, I was real careful and cleaned him with wipes but now I'm like oh well...lol...that's sounds gross out loud...:) |
I do have a problem with the people who keep their dogs in pens 24/7, or don't allow them in certain rooms (when a dog just wants to be with you)..to me it defeats the purpose of HAVING a pet  I agree with you on this 100%. |
Eeewwww..... Garrett doesn't "sleep" with us, he sleeps in his crate, but he's always in the bed. He does go potty outside, and I don't always wipe his feet, but the way I look at it......my son sometimes falls asleep in my bed and I have seen the bottom of HIS SOCKS :eek:.....now there's something gross!!! |

I think our dogs are cleaner than alot of people. When we go to a public place, I don't let her walk on the nasty ground, I carry her, even at the vet's office. At home and around our yard, I don't worry about it. She starts out sleeping with us and moves in and out during the night. Her alternate favorite is on the cold bathroom floor, with just her head on a towel. She WILL NOT sleep in any of her several dog beds |

I do wipe my Yorkie's feet and face and butt each time we come in for a walk. At night he prefers to sleep in his bed right next to mine unless he feels cold and he'd come to snuggle for a little. My hubby, myself and my little guy sleeps better if he is not on the bed. Hubby is a light sleeper so any motions from my Yorkie on our bed will wake him up and I am a heavy sleeper..I don't think I would know if I have kicked my little guy if he sleeps with me so in the end, it all works out that he sleeps in his bed next to mine and he is welcome to jump up when he is cold and needs to snuggle. |

Our bed is very high. I don't know what I was thinking when I picked it out. I'm 5" tall. The bed comes up past my belly! I have to hop up there myself. lol My husband thought about taking it off the frame and sitting it on the floor. lol I think I may get some of those steps for Shadow. He won't let me sleep at all. lol |

Sanitary? hahaha When you have a dog that goes out the window! They lick their bums and then they kiss you---and sanitation is a concern? bwahahaha |

I bought a set, and then ended up giving them away. They were only high enough for the bed in our guest room, anyway. Baxter (stubborn pup) refused to use them....he knew how, I trained him by dropping treats on the steps.....the only pup that used them was Cooper...he would use them to go up, but then jump back off the bed  Yes I am 5'2", I have to stand on my tip toes, and literally climb in to bed. We do restrict them to our bedroom when we are sleeping at night. The boys go in bed with us, and Darcy likes to sleep UNDER the bed, or in her bed with her bath body works lambie blanket at the foot of the bed. Reason being, she will scratch at our door to get out if she needs to potty, but if we let her roam the house she will just pee in front of the back door. When Dad leaves for work in the morning, all of them run out and potty, then all 3 get back in bed with Mom for another hr or 2 of sleep (the best part of the morning) In fact, all 3 are sleeping right now while Mom reads YT posts. (Cooper is the lump under the comforter) |
