I'm a single yorkie mom of Canyon and soon to be Canyon's lil brother come Friday and I have zero backup. No neighbors or family close by that I would trust to help with my babies if I needed them. I also have a b/f who thinks that it would be "okay" to put them both in a crate with a blanket over it in the back of a pickup truck when we go out of town (5 hour drive) for Thanksgiving!!!!! What an idiot!! (Note to self - get rid of b/f). Canyon is my everything and people don't understand our bond and what he means or how protective I am of him. I think it's great.

I don't have a prob with boys liking Breyli. Usually they aren't so keen on little dogs but after meeting her, they let her lick their faces.

Ella Bean likes to walk up to boys at the park.
They always think she is hysterical - to bad for them she always comes right back to MOMMY!! LOL! She makes her choice and its always ME!

My daughter is talking about moving to Japan and I may get my original baby back as my own too. I'll kind of miss it just being Maya and me, but I am looking for ward to the antics.

I'm wondering what I've gotten myself into being single and adding another yorkie but I think it'll be fun and a great comfort to Canyon.

I can't decide on a name yet, either Jackson, Presley, Phoenix or River.

It will get much easier as he get's older. I promise.
Yes, it's a real challange being a single mom. First of all I was not
planning on a puppy! I was shopping for a rescue but that didn't work
because I had to work. I had myself so gung ho for a Yorkie after
9months of searching I went out and bought a PUPPY! Oh my god
what did I do? I sat many Sat mornings at 5:30am crying at the kitchen
table looking at this ball of fur who was so dependent on me now for
his well being. At times I laughed threw the tears. Stupid old lady I
said to myself.(I was 63) LOL It was so stressfull working and worrying about him
that I came down with Shingles and suffered with such pain for months.
Well after eating the corner of the new floor in the kitchen, eating a rung
on my formal dinning room chair, chewing the bottom out of my blue velvet
chair, chewing up 13 throw rugs, chewing the skirt on my love seat and eating my glasses etc. We also went threw food aggression , toy aggression and guarding! But we finally
made it. Buddy and I are bonded at the
hip! He's my best Bud and the love of my life.
Hang in there because in the end you will be sooooooooooo rewarded
with nothing but love and kisses.
P.S. He will never get boarded. If he can't go with me I stay home.
