Good Morning & Happy Sunday to ya!!!!
I have been up for awhile..... reading the paper, and checking out the computer..... YT of course!! :)
I left for work on Friday at 4:45 am and didn't return home until 11:45 pm .... THEN I had to work yesterday so I am So VERY tired. This morning I am wrapping some Christmas gifts for my Grandchildren. Just going to stay home today and try to get some rest ( with the exception of going to pick up some food for Shelbs and Sey).

....... so that is my plan........ does anyone have anything intersting going on today????

Nope....nothing to exciting going on here...

Will be doing grocery shopping, maybe some YT gift exchange shopping for Halle's secret buddy (that will be fun), but other than that just sitting home referee-ing Lexie & Halle. Actually more like separating the two. Lexie has taken a viscious dislike to Halle in the last month or so (in case you haven't seen my thread), and we are slowly coming to the conclusion that Lexie may have to be re-homed where she can be the only female in the house. It kills me to even think of having to do this, but in the meantime, it's also almost killing poor Halle.
Sorry, didn't mean for this to be such a "downer" post. We are dealing with this problem as positively as we can & are hoping for the best. Both girls get plenty of love and attention....just at separate times these days.

Hope everyone here on YT has a wonderful end to their weekend!

I am sitting here in the house with pj's, a robe, slippers, and a blanket over me........ Shelby & Seymour have their Gofetch flannels on and are snuggled in a blanket........ and you are going to the BEACH???? :cool:

Just got gravy and biscuits done waiting on dh to get up so I can eat. lol. I think I am going to let Lucky in the bedroom. That will do the trick. hehehe. I think I am going to get our winter clothes out today and put up summer stuff. yuk......

We are taking our neighbor out to breakfast, then running a couple places to price ceramic tile before we make our final decision!

Ha ha the ceramic tile journey continues!!! LOL Give hubby my well wishes! (giggling)

Sunday is always family day for me. I ALWAYS visit my mom and dad for sunday dinner...we're italian lol. Pasquale loves it cause he hangs out under the table and waits for someone to carelessly drop something LoL

I hope you all have a relaxful and wonderful Sunday!!

The heater went on for the first time this morning, so all of my guys snuggled even closer and let me sleep in 1 1/2 hrs. longer. Yeah!!!!!!!!!! Sitting reading the paper, drinking coffee and reading YT. Who could ask for more. My husband is training for a half marathon and two of my Yorkies get to go with him the first 4 miles. They are the only two that run, the rest are couch potatoes (or smart, depending on how you look at it). We'll go to our local coffee shop later today...our regular Sunday ritual and socialize and see the other dogs. I LOVE SUNDAYS!:D

Not much going on here either, having a cup of coffee trying to get my eyes open and my brain to work,
My daughter is suppose to come over she wants to go to the Hallmark open house today,
other then that it's a lazy/peaceful day on the farm.

I love Sundays! Everyone's day sounds so nice...I am snuggled with my furbabies and in a few hours we will hit the dog park...I plan on keeping this a very lazy day! :p

Just got home from the gym. So, workout is done.

Then I went for a walk with Gus. Met some neighbors walking their dogs. We talked about a new dog park that opened close by. So, maybe I'll try to find it, and let Gus make some friends.

In between, I'll try to find some time to play the flute. If Gus sits in my lap, I can't play because he tries to bite the flute. But, Gus gets priority if he wants to sit in my lap. It's very comforting.

I just had my living room/dining room, kitchen and hallway painted and am trying to put my house back together:p

I cleaned the living room rug and took it and the pad outside to hang over my fence yesterday so they could dry and air out. They've got to come back in sometime today.

I've gotta to back to Wally World too:( I have a hallway that is kind of dark and am trying to camouflage it. I want a mirror at the end of the hall to open it up and make it bigger and more "airy", but my thermostat is right in the middle of it. My solution was to buy 2 door mirrors in really pretty frames and hang them on either side of the thermostat. The first one went up - no problem - but the second one FELL OUT of the frame as soon as I let it go! It broke into a million pieces and nicked my freshly painted wall in 2 places.

Do ya'll think I'm gonna have 7 years of bad luck???

We have the same situation with two of my females. As I am a breeder, I have three females here at home with me. Spirit tries to be the "alpha" dog, and Bella periodically has to put her in her place. It can get pretty nasty, and my hands have shown the wounds from separating them. Are your dogs spayed? As I have a business where I board dogs thirty pounds and under, I can take one of the girls down there for a visit giving both of them time to settle down. My third female, Kiley, is very submissive, so she gets along with both girls. It really seems to get to be an issue when one of the girls is in heat. How old are your furbabies?

Sunday morning is when I bathe and brush all the dogs. In the afternoon I take country 2 step dance classes at the Sr Center. It is the most enjoyable day of the week. Time with my babies and dancing. What could be better than that.

Are your girls spayed? I bet that will help lots. Try taking them on long walks together so they can form a pac. They maybe fighting for your attention. I know I am the pac leader in my home and all my babies seem to pick on My 8 year old Westie Kirby. Not always, just when I sit in the grass and play with all of them. They heard him alway and my female Lola snaps.It all seems to be improving with long walks, All five together...Good Luck....

We are home! I think I narrowed it down to "Tuscan Taupe" or something like that. I am going to get the kitchen painted Tomato Red (Eddie Bauer). It is a bright yellow now & I love it, but the air purifier set on "ionozer" turned the wall sooty in the corner :confused:, I think its going to look good---all of my cabinets are white.

Husband is outside blowing leaves off the patio--he is like a kid--he got a vacuum attachment to his blower. I am going to make a big old glass of diet coke and start on 1 of my 5 bow orders I want to get out tomorrow---

All three pups are sleeping across the backs of the sofa/love seat

Everyone is right--who COULD ask for more?

I have the same issue with two that are in heat right now.* It is like two dominant women with PMS.* they l;ook at each other and the fight is on.* My solution is to just keep them separated for the duration of the heat.* Not sure if it will go back to norma after the heat or this will be permanent.* Meanwhile I have divided the yard with another fence and I have ordered a second doggie door, ready to put it in when I can get someone to help me.

It will also serve to keep the boys and girls separated because I now have a second male, so need to separate them so there are no surprise matings.

I am just getting ready to babysit the grandbaby, then tonight I have to get done with all the baths, I didn't finish yesterday:rolleyes: then get everything ready for work, Blossom is in heat so we are having fun here:p

Ha, I tried all 5 together and the two got into it on the walk and I had such a tangled mess, it took m e a half hour to untangle them all, trying to keep them all on leash and the two separated, it was a nightmare.

They respect me as pack leader, but both trying to have the breeding rights of the pack. In a dog pack, only the alpha female breeds, so each of them are trying to be the breeding female.

I think the big problem is, Chachi is in love with Ollie, and he flirts with and courts her. He does his job with Harlie, but wants to be with Ollie, so while Harlie is sticking it in his face he is off trying to court Ollie.

It's like desparate housewives. A real love triangle. :eek:

So I have resorted to keeping them separated at least till the heats are over.

The last fight, I could not get them to let go of each other, so I put them in the kitchen sink and turned on the cold water. That did the trick. Since then I have kept them separated.

Tonight I'm having a dinner party/game night with some friends...assuming my hubby get enough work done on his programming project. He needs a break so I'm really hoping he has the time to spare tonight.

I ended up going to walmart and target and doing some Christmas shopping. I am trying to get a cheap $300 laptop for my Daughter. I am going to try on black Friday. I did end up getting a couple presents though so that was good. I only have a couple more things to get and I want to be done on Black Friday

We got up early and read the paper. The Yorkie and Chihuahua have been on me or next to me since I got up. They were very interested in my bagel I had for breakfast. :rolleyes:

It is cold and I am wearing flannel jammies, robe and have a fleece blanket over my legs. Apollo is annoyed that the laptop is on my lap and he has to lay on my shins instead of my lap. :D

Tonight I am going to see the Eagles in concert! I only go to 1 - 2 concerts a year - and this will be a great one! :jump28ib::jump28ib::jump28ib:

Also check out Cyber monday. Its specials on the web on monday following Thanksgiving. I work for Fedex and this day was as big as Christmas. Better deals. Check it out. I heard 50 plus inch TV under 400 dollars....Yikes...

I will and thanks for the tip. My Husband and his brothers are also buying his Mom a tv together so we are definitely looking at the electronics this yr

HAHA. I'm so amused by this and i don't know why, but no one has mentioned watching football. walker's snuggled up in his crate sleeping away (its 10.30 in Germany) and DH are watching the good old NFL! :we're #1: Yea. the Bills lost. i had hope. so'd the bears. rough day for our household.

Sounds to me like some people are planning for a fun day of play or being very busy today......while others are taking it easy!!

Thats my plan!! After a busy week...I plan on just sitting back, hot tea in hand and baby snuggled into her blankie beside me and hangin around YT for awhile.....lol Then for exra fun I might join my hubby in watching a new movie we bought! NO work for me today..I'm taking a much needed break!!!
