First things first in our new administration. Last night our new President turned to his two beautiful girls and stated that they had earned the puppy they had been asking for and that it would go to the White House with them. <applause>

Is there any way we can get to him and ask that it be a yorkie????? there have been beagle first dogs, and cockers, and whatever...but I don't recall a yorkie....heck we even had socks the cat.

It is OUR time people....rise up, petition, catch him before he gets a lab or something.

I agree, a yorkie would make the perfect "First Dog", for the First Family. Does he have some kind of website, maybe we could all send pictures of our cute furbabies.

I wish he would get a yorkie. McCain had 2 yorkies and I was excited that they may be the first dog

I woke up thinking the same thing this morning. I def think Malia & Sasha Obama should get a Yorkie [or 2

]. And to set the right example, I hope he goes for a rescue

I have a feeling it will be a Yorkie

One of our members here took a picture of her little male yorkie with an Obama for President vest on and it was hand delivered to Michelle Obama, by the member's son. She talked to him about them adopting a dog..

So there's hope

I think we should all do our homework and figure out a way to get in touch with Mr. Obama's people and suggest they get a yorkie!!!!!

His girls are old enough to have A sweet Little Yorkie each. YES we need A Yorkie to support the U.S

If that happens, their are going to be many more people seeking out Yorkies for pets.

The demand will quadtriple in the U.S .
